In a stunning move that he announced yesterday, Kristopher Jones Kristopher Jones 6’2″ | 225 lbs | LB Mountain View | 2024 State VA will be transferring to Fairfax High School for his senior season. The former Mountain View student, made the announcement on his twitter page. Looks like his family relocated to the area in what was the reasoning behind the move, either way this is a tremendous news for the Rebels. Fairfax is coming off an historic season that had them all the way to the State Semifinals before bowing out to James Madison. With the graduation of Tony Rojas Tony Rojas 6’3″ | 205 lbs | WR Fairfax | 2023 State VA , Jones should immediately fill a major need on defense as he is one of if not the best linebacker in the state. Things just got more interesting in District 4, it will be fun to see how everything plays out.
Highlights
Bodie Kahoun
Bodie Kahoun
Speaking of playmaking linebackers, another top one has made his college choice for 2024. Patrick Henry’s Bodie Kahoun announced his commitment to Notre Dame this morning and the Fighting Irish must be jumping for joy. Playing out of Region 5, the Patrick Henry Patriots should be a prime contender come playoff time this fall and having Kahoun announce his commitment already is potentially one less distraction. Congrats to Bodie on his commitment to Notre Dame, Marcus Freeman continues to be a master at recruiting.
Tuscarora all state offensive lineman Fletcher Westphal Fletcher Westphal 6’8″ | 325 lbs | OL Tuscarora | 2024 State VA has shortened his list of colleges to five schools. Seeing his list and the way he plays the young man will most likely be SEC bound come Fall of 2024. Clemson (yes I am aware they are in the ACC), Auburn, Florida, Arkansas and Georgia cracked the young man’s top five and I don’t believe he has announced his commitment date as of yet. Regardless of where he decides, expect this dude to come in and compete right away, he is that good.

The other top lineman recruit from Loudoun Valley Mason Wade Mason Wade 6’5″ | 285 lbs | OL Loudoun Valley | 2024 State VA has also narrowed his list to 5 schools: Auburn, Virginia Tech, Duke, North Carolina and Boston College
Before you ask no I do not have any insight on where this mauler will be attending next fall, what I do know is that whoever gets him will be lucky. Wade is one of the most versatile lineman in the class of 2024 throughout the country, expect him to have an immediate impact. He also sports a 3.97 GPA, you can see when you watch him play the young man plays the game with a high level of intelligence.
Just as I was discussing Kristopher Jones Kristopher Jones 6’2″ | 225 lbs | LB Mountain View | 2024 State VA transfer, Adam Badi Adam Badi 5’11” | 205 lbs | LB Centreville | 2024 State VA announced he was not only transferring to the Virginia Football Academy, but also reclassifying to 2025. Talking about this at length with a few sources in the state, the VA football Academy located in Ashburn is on the rise, do not be surprised if my kids enroll their shortly. Badi is a playmaker and with him reclassifying has a chance to be the top recruits in the class of 2025, all the best to this wonderful young man on his next steps.
