In this week's article, we have everything from commitments to scholarship offers making headlines. Today we are going to get caught up on a busy week of recruiting news in the Natural State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='819089' first='Wyatt' last='Simmons']-Linebacker-Harding Academy-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Harding Academy linebacker has blown up from a recruiting perspective. [player_tooltip player_id='819089' first='Wyatt' last='Simmons'] explodes to the ball carrier and does a great job of separating the ball from the ball carrier. The scholarship offers poured in this week. Simmons received scholarship offers from Mississippi State, Arkansas, Liberty, Auburn, Southern Mississippi, Florida State, Oklahoma, SMU, Tulsa, Texas-San Antonio, and UNLV. He has the potential to do big things at the next level. I expect a big 2023 season from the talented Harding Academy linebacker.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='401198' first='Kemp' last='Keller']-Quarterback-Little Rock Christian-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past few weeks, [player_tooltip player_id='401198' first='Kemp' last='Keller'] has done a great job of putting his passing ability on display. Keller throws an accurate deep ball and is not afraid to test opposing secondaries deep. Keller has a good sense of the pocket, and he knows when to escape the pocket and use his legs. Earlier in the week, Keller earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas Baptist University. The ceiling is high for Keller, and I expect several strong seasons over the next few years. He is a prospect to watch out for.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='264998' first='Marcus' last='Wimberly']-Athlete-Bauxite-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The versatility that [player_tooltip player_id='264998' first='Marcus' last='Wimberly'] possesses will make him a recruiting target for numerous college scouts. Wimberly can and will hurt you on both sides of the ball. He is a tremendous prospect in the secondary that does a great job of making a play on the ball. The Bauxite Miner earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas-Pine Bluff earlier in the week. Wimberly is a prospect that I expect to earn more scholarships offers over the next few months. He is a player to watch this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149580' first='Drake' last='Lindsey']-Quarterback-Fayetteville-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Fayetteville signal caller has opened plenty of eyes over the past six months. Lindsey has a strong arm that will keep opposing defenses honest. He is not afraid to test opponents with the deep ball. Meanwhile, Lindsey has the accuracy to fit the ball into some tight windows. Over the past few months, the Minnesota Golden Gophers have made a big push for the talented Fayetteville quarterback. Earlier this week, the push Minnesota's staff made was rewarded with a verbal commitment from Lindsey. He has the potential to have a big season for the Bulldogs this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='823707' first='Decari' last='Prater']-Defensive Back-Prescott-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='823707' first='Decari' last='Prater'] plays all over the field for the Prescott Curley Wolves. The versatility that Prater has does not go unnoticed. He has the talent to play on both sides of the ball for Prescott. However, his skill in the secondary is what we will focus on in this section. He has the ability to terrorize opposing wide receivers with his speed and ability to make plays on the ball. Over the past few weeks, Prater has earned scholarship offers from Marshall and Middle Tennessee State. He has the potential to be a recruit that plenty of college scouts extend offers to.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='303140' first='Harris' last='Vinson']-Athlete-Bentonville West-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One prospect that has the potential to have a strong season is Bentonville West athlete [player_tooltip player_id='303140' first='Harris' last='Vinson']. Vinson must be accounted for by opposing teams on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. On the defensive side of the ball, he plays the linebacker precision with impressive aggressiveness. Vinson is not afraid to deliver a hit and separates the ball from the ball carrier. The Bentonville West prospect earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas State earlier in the week. I look for him to earn more offers over the next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='260284' first='Aquavious' last='Dunbar']-Athlete-Lakeside-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='260284' first='Aquavious' last='Dunbar'] continues to open plenty of eyes as the summer approaches. Dunbar can play the running back or safety positions with impressive effectiveness at each position. Over the past few weeks, Dunbar has earned scholarship offers from both Austin Peay and Tulsa. I expect Dunbar to continue to haul in scholarship offers as the upcoming season approaches. Dunbar has the potential to see playing time on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
