Prep Redzone Arkansas Showcase: Guys that Opened Eyes

Prep Redzone Arkansas had the opportunity to watch plenty of talented prospects leave on the field at Mills High School in Little Rock. In this article, we are going to look at some of the prospects that had impressive showings this past weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='221709' first='Isaiah' last='Arrington']-Wide Receiver-Greenwood-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Every time that I have the opportunity to scout [player_tooltip player_id='221709' first='Isaiah' last='Arrington'], he continues to raise his game. The Greenwood wide receiver continues to showcase smooth route running. He does a tremendous job of creating separation using his mix of route running and speed. Arrington is setting the stage for a strong 2023 season. He opened plenty of eyes in the camp this past weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='172373' first='Bradyn' last='King']-Offensive Line-Gurdon-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was excited to get to watch King again this weekend and he did not disappoint one bit. King displayed the explosion out of the stance that has opened plenty of eyes over the past few seasons. King was impressive all throughout the camp and he is setting the stage for a big 2023 football season for Gurdon. He is a prospect with a high ceiling, and I can't wait to see what he does this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='594778' first='Slade' last='Norwood']-Quarterback-Farmington-2027</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Farmington signal caller continues to have a strong camp circuit. Norwood showcased a strong arm that was not impacted by windy conditions on Sunday. He fit the ball into some tight windows. Norwood continues to hammer out the details and has the potential to light up Friday nights in the future. The future is bright in Farmington with plenty of talented players on the roster.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='401183' first='Catavion' last='Taylor']-Athlete-Fayetteville-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='401183' first='Catavion' last='Taylor'] showed up ready to compete at Mills High School this afternoon. Taylor posted a 4.66 forty-yard dash time. However, he was not finished there. Taylor made some great plays in the passing game. Taylor did a great job of going up and high pointing the football. The Fayetteville Bulldog has tremendous versatility, and it will be interesting to see where he lines up this fall. He is off to a strong start to the 2023 campaign.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149572' first='Greyson' last='Riggins']-Athlete-DeWitt-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Riggins is one prospect that displayed good speed. With the explosiveness to play everything from the tight end and quarterback positions on the offensive side of the ball to linebacker spot on the defensive side of the ball. He is approaching the 2023 football season on a mission and that was clear at the Prep Redzone Arkansas Showcase on Sunday. Riggins is a prospect I expect big things from this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149593' first='LJ' last='Robins']-Wide Receiver-Greenwood-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Greenwood is loaded at the wide receiver position and that was made clear today. [player_tooltip player_id='149593' first='LJ' last='Robins'] displayed good speed and extremely impressive hands. He is able to make difficult receptions look easy. Robins came to the showcase ready to work and he did not disappoint. I expect a big senior season from the talented Greenwood receiver. He is putting in the work this offseason it is showing clear at the camps and showcases he is attending.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
