Escandon is a bit undersized for the position, but more than makes up for it with his downhill physical style of play, quick play diagnosis and tackling abilities. Able to play both inside and outside backer, he is a high impact kid that flows quickly to the ball, can sniff out screens/draws and flashes closing speed while a very sure tackler in space. He plays with heavy hands in-between the tackles when getting off blocks and can knife into the backfield with some pass rush abilities and bend. He is a high motor kid that also displays cover abilities as well and can make an impact at the next level.
Franklin has ideal size/frame for the FBS level and will continue to pack on weight to his frame as he moves through his college career and wraps up his final prep season. He is a long and physical edge rusher that establishes immediate inside hand placement on tackles and uses his length to choke out blockers with a violent shed and some natural bend off the edge. He shows closing speed backside, collapses the pocket quickly and has good pass rush lane discipline while quickly recognizing blocks and very sturdy against the run. He is a balanced player that should continue to see G5 and FCS offers roll in through this Spring and Summer.
Kerby is a very balanced, physical downhill back that runs behind his pads and shows great leg drive through contact and finishes runs while looking for contact in the hole. He has elite speed from his track background and gets vertical in a hurry while able to bounce it outside when needed and gain the edge and forces defenders to take poor angles in the open field with sneaky third level speed. In the return game, he has natural open field vision with cutback abilities and shows some short area twitch to win one on one situations in the clear. He is a very well built kid with a powerful lower body and tough to bring down. Kerby can make an impact at the college level and should draw FCS interest as he progresses through his final season.
