Natural State Prospects Putting in Work this Weekend

In this article, we are going to look at some prospects from Arkansas that opened some eyes at camps over the weekend. With spring football practices either taking place or starting up this week, this weekend was a great weekend to get in one last camp before the summer months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='186548' first='Landon' last='Canady']-Defensive Line-Little Rock Parkview-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past few months, Canady has opened plenty of eyes with his stellar play on the defensive side of the ball. Canady had the opportunity to showcase his power at the Rivals camp in Dallas. He did a great job in one-on-one competition and was able to overpower opposing offensive lineman. I expect a big season from Canady this upcoming season and look for his recruitment to be a fun over the next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='250016' first='Owen' last='Miller']-Quarterback-Harding Academy-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Harding Academy signal caller continues his preparations for the upcoming football season by putting in some work this weekend. Miller put on display a strong arm and looked ready for the 2023 football season to start. He was throwing with accuracy and fitting the ball into his receivers in impressive fashion. Miller has the potential to have a strong 2023 season. I expect a big season from Miller as well as Harding Academy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Randall Davis-Offensive Line-Little Rock Parkview-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Randall Davis is one of the most versatile prospects on the offensive line for the Parkview Patriots. At the Rivals camp in Dallas, Davis had the opportunity to put that versatility on display. He is a powerhouse with quick feet that does a great job of protecting the passer. The Parkview roster is loaded with talented prospects and keeping an eye on Davis this season would be an excellent idea. He has the potential to have a big 2023 football season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='187634' first='Peyton' last='McNeely']-Defensive Line-Benton-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McNeely is a prospect on the defensive line that scouts should watch out for this upcoming season. The Benton defensive lineman was extremely impressive at the Rivals camp in Dallas over the weekend. He used his speed well in one-on-ones to defeat the blocks and get into the backfield. McNeely was also impressive throughout the camp, and he is setting the stage for a big 2023 season for the Panthers this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Carmilo Allen-Linebacker-Fordyce-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Fordyce linebacker had a strong Monster camp performance last week and is having a great offseason. He can play the edge or linebacker positions with equal effectiveness. Allen defeats blocks well and does not seem to have a problem getting into the opposing offensive backfield. Allen is a prospect to watch out for as we approach the 2023 football season. I expect a big season from the Fordyce linebacker.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
