We always have room to talk about new talent. Today, I ran across a few players in the state I have yet to write about. These guys are some studs that will play college football one day.

[player_tooltip player_id='914873' first='Tate' last='Walsworth'], Adams County Christian Academy, OL

Walsworth is a 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive lineman. He just received his first offer from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Walsworth has the opportunity to be a big time recruit from Mississippi. With his size and skills, I can see him being a power five prospect. Walsworth is very patient with his hands. He has some things to work on, but with his size and IQ he can be taught a lot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1127568' first='Collin' last='Haney'], QB, Columbia

Haney is a guy that helped lead Columbia to the second round last season. He was picking up yards on the ground and in the air. Haney is very confident when he is in the pocket. He also knows how to extend plays well. Haney has some very decent speed. He isn't the easiest guy to catch when he decides to escape the pocket. Last season he threw 16 touchdowns. I'm ready to see him hit the field again. This season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225039' first='Braishun' last='Forbes'], Murrah, WR/DB

Forbes goes out there and catches head balls weekly. He is a jump ball specialist who is known to win most of the jump ball battles. I think that Forbes needs to become a better route runner if he wants to play receiver on the next level. Forbes has the frame to be a nice safety of outside linebacker. He is a true 6-2 guy that weighs 185 pounds. I'll be sure to keep up with him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225034' first='Peyton' last='Johnson'], WR, Murrah

Johnson is a guy the state will know about soon. He is blazing fast with good size. He knows how to run routes and he has natural catching ability. Johnson is going to be very deadly on the islands this year. He has a very good release from the line. This is a guy you are going to want to become familiar with.
