Let’s dive into Part II from O’Gorman High School.
Trillion Sorrell, WR/DB, Sioux Falls Sharks/Vermillion, SD (2025) Twitter
- Regardless of which side of the ball Trillion lined up on Sunday, this kid was a certified playmaker that showed off excellent ball tracking skills, and made quick adjustments on the fly to zone into the football consistently on both side of the ball.
- He certainly outplayed his 5’11 160 pound measurables, as if you watched this young man on any rep last Sunday, without looking you would have expected a prospect that played way over 6’0+ with some of the instincts Trillion showed off at the Midwest 7v7 Showcase. Once Trillion grows into his body, he’s going to be an even bigger problem on both sides of the ball in my eyes.
Thomas Davis Thomas Davis 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Lincoln North Star | 2024 State NE , WR, Nebraska Red Wolves/Lincoln Northstar, NE (2024) Twitter
- Thomas rattled off six touchdowns on the day to my count, as this young man played with some extreme instinct on every rep I got to watch on Sunday. He also showed excellent balance in the air, as he was able to adjust smoothly to the football with his high-level of trajectory with the heavy winds in play on every rep.
- Thomas also attracted me with his football IQ from last Sunday in Sioux Falls, as he showed off a convincing burst off the snap and showed off the vertical that certainly showed off a high football ceiling as this kid showed off great versatility as well with how much in rhythm his footwork was when he was destined for the open field. He also has excellent character that would pay dividends you want in a locker room playing on Saturdays.
Davieian Williams Davieian Williams 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Lincoln Southeast | 2024 State NE , ATH, Nebraska Red Wolves/Lincoln, NE (2024) Twitter
- One of my favorite Nebraska prospects from last Sunday in Sioux Falls was Nebraska Red Wolves and Lincoln’s High’s Davieian Williams Davieian Williams 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Lincoln Southeast | 2024 State NE . This young man was one of the biggest swiss army knives at the tournament on both sides of the ball as you could really read into just how strong this kid was from a football IQ perspective even from watching his first reps last Sunday.
- He also caught my eye with how long his strides were for the size (6’2) he showed off, as Davieian had the instinctive range to turn on dime especially from when I watched his reps at defensive back where he showed off an excellent trigger right in the wheelhouse of the ball carrier. As I have heard from my Nebraska scouts, they love the growth and noise this young man is going to make going into his senior season, and based on what I saw, I couldn’t agree more.
Austin Markman Austin Markman 5'11" | 150 lbs | ATH Roosevelt | 2025 State SD , ATH, Midwest Miners/Sioux Falls Roosevelt (2025) Twitter
- The best way to describe Austin and his game on the football field, is fundamentally sound. Whether it is on offense or defense, this kid just shows so many flashes of athletic ability on both sides of the ball with his pass-catching ability, ball-tracking skills in coverage and much more.
- He might not be the biggest prospect you will ever watch at his age, but Austin shows a significant plethora of instinct in the reps I have caught since January and from what I saw last weekend, he keeps developing at a high rate to likely become one of my early stockrisers you will see our next update within the 2025 class.
Dawson Bauer Dawson Bauer 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Sioux Falls O'Gorman | 2025 State SD , WR, Sioux Falls Sharks/Sioux Falls O’Gorman (2025) Twitter
- Being the #1 wide receiver in South Dakota, I was excited to watch Sioux Falls’s O Gorman’s Dawson Bauer Dawson Bauer 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Sioux Falls O'Gorman | 2025 State SD last Sunday on his home turf in Sioux Falls. The glue hands Dawson showed off was true on every level of the football field and it is very easy to see why this young man had over 1000 receiving yards as a sophomore for the Knights.
- Dawson really caught my eyes with how enhanced he was with getting separation, especially once he got into the second level of the field which is where you saw his outstanding footwork take flight and showed off a much larger window with his catch radius within his 5’10 170 pound frame. I can’t wait to watch to see what Dawson can show off this summer at prospect camps as I would expect him to be one of the early offers in South Dakota’s 2025 class as he certainly played up to the hype as WR1 in South Dakota last Sunday, this kid catches everything you throw at him.
Gabe Canter, WR, Sioux Falls Sharks/Sioux Falls Washington (2024) Tape
- Gabe showed off some great bases of fluidity in his route running ability from what I saw last Sunday in Sioux Falls, and it didn’t matter where this young man was on the field, he showed off great glimpses of what is blossoming going into his senior season for the Warriors.
- He might be one of the biggest sleepers the Sioux Falls area has to offer in this upcoming senior class, as glimpses over his tape, it certainly doesn’t do the justice of what I have seen out this young man this Spring as a WR prospect that plays with a chip on his shoulder with something to prove and is a significantly efficent wide-out especially around the sticks when you need a quick first down anywhere around that first level of the field. Gage also has great durability in high traffic areas with solid vision.
