Christian Langford Christian Langford 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Langston Hughes | 2025 State GA – QB – Buford
One of the more athletic and dynamic quarterbacks not only in Georgia for the 2025 class, Langford transferred from East Coweta to power-house Buford in hopes of leading the Wolves back to glory. The dual-threat quarterback has really good size for his age at 6-foot-2 190-pounds with a strong arm, capable of making big throws down the field. He’s still learning to play quarterback, but it’s easy to see the potential he’ll bring this fall as a junior. As a sophomore, Langford threw for 2,066 yards, making him one of the more productive quarterbacks in the area last year in his class. He’s also thrown for 28 touchdowns. His biggest game of the season came against Hillgrove. Not only did he lead East Coweta to a big 55-21 win, but he also threw for 357 yards and 6 touchdowns in the victory. He also threw for 362 yards and and five touchdowns in a big win over Lowndes. Look for him to have a giant 2023 season at Buford.
Jaiden Jenkins – Parkview
A St. Francis transfer looking to take over the starting job at Parkview, Jenkins may be on the smaller side still, but he knows how to play the position, has fantastic arm talent, ad plays bigger than his size would indicate. He can zip the ball all over the field, and he can do it accurately. He also knows hot to take off and run, giving Parkview a true dual-threat quarterback with plenty of weapons around him in 2023. He’ll have a 5-star receiver to throw too, one of the state’s leading running backs carrying the ball behind him, and a big, powerful group of offensive linemen blocking for him. He was extremely productive as a junior for St. Francis last year, throwing for 3,191 yards and 27 touchdowns while rushing for eight more scores. The 5-foot-11 185-pounder was also named 1st Team All Region QB and an All State Honorable Mention. Now that he’s at Parkview, look for Jenkins to have a big senior season in hopes of leading the Panthers to a deep 7A playoff run.
Ryan Hall – North Gwinnett
A promising dual-threat quarterback who ran through defenses consistently last year as a sophomore, look for Hall to have an even bigger junior season in 2023. The young, talented sophomore rushed for 787 yards last year and will likely see those number improve in a big way. His best game on the ground came against Norcross where he ran through the Blue Devil defense for 176 yards and one touchdown on 15 carries. He’s a promising passer as well who threw for 1,610 yards and 12 touchdowns. His arm will be stronger, and you can expect his passing numbers to increase in a big way. He could make a giant step forward as a junior, and although he’ll be going up against some tough 7A defenses throughout the year, Hall has enough talent to take the Bulldogs pretty far in 2023.
Dillon Mohammed – Norcross
A dynamic dual-threat quarterback ready to make his name known in 7A, Mohammed has a promising arm, but he’s expected to make lots of plays with his legs as a junior this fall for the Blue Devils. He has above-average arm talent, and if he continues to develop as a passer and learn the ins and outs of the quarterback position, Mohammed has a chance to be a true breakout quarterback in Gwinnett County next year. He’s quick, agile, and knows how to take off down the field. He certainly checks those boxes. He’s only going to get better as a passer, and that’s bad news for opposing 7A defenses. He trains with a well-respected quarterback coach in the state, so his best days as a passer are still well in front of him. He showed flashes over the weekend against Buford and still has a few more months to keep working and improving.
