Isaac Nyenabo
Nyenabo has a nice blend of length, speed, and quickness. He’s at his best mirroring routes underneath, showing fluid movement skills and the ability to change directions on a dime. He has the straight-line speed to recover. His ball skills are tremendous, with good hands and the potential to take it to the house any time Nyenabo gets his hands on the ball. Can get up on the line of scrimmage and deliver a solid punch early in routes, then use that quickness to shadow, or back off and close quickly when the ball comes out. Nyenabo tracks the ball well and does a nice job of getting his head around in plenty of time to avoid flags.
Jabari Spencer
Jabari Spencer
Spencer shows a natural feel for setting up blockers and getting them off-balance. His hands are active and violent, and Spencer quickly disengages with blockers and counters when his initial move stalls. He’s a capable blitzer with the ability to close quickly. He’s also very good in coverage, rangy with good awareness in zone coverage, and fluid and fast enough to run with most tight ends. He’s aggressive shooting gaps, redirecting downfield quickly and closing fast on the ball carrier. Spencer also has the ideal length and dip-and-bend ability to be a pass-rushing threat off the edge.
Perlotte is a good all-around athlete with very good short-area quickness and fluidity. Very good playing strength and has worked hard in the weight room, adding bulk and filling out his frame. His core, flexibility and balance are excellent, and he has prototypical length. He understands angles and takes very good paths moving downhill. Perlotte shows good ability in coverage, with the agility to mirror backs.
Highlights
Jaiden Patterson
Jaiden Patterson
Patterson does a good job getting his head around in time when playing with his back to the line of scrimmage. Has the ability to cover quickness underneath. Can get up under a receiver’s chin and has the speed to flip his hips and run downfield. Patterson has the quick and surprisingly powerful hands to jostle receivers early. But he’s at his best peeking into the backfield. Has the change-of-direction ability to mirror underneath but did solid work out of press and off coverage.
