Able to make throws when rolling out and generally keeps his eyes downfield when scrambling.

He doesn’t need to have a wide-open receiver to target them; he trusts his receivers/arm enough to try and stick passes. Has a quick, efficient throwing motion. Ball placement is good over the middle of the field. Uses appropriate touch. Able to make big-time throws out to the sidelines; can drop passes in a bucket down the field.

Capable of making throws on bootlegs to the right side of the field. Gets the ball out quickly in the short game, with a release that’s at least adequate. Able to work through progressions. Overall arm strength is solid, with good zip on his throws. Has the confidence to trust his arm on passes into tighter windows. Knows when to take something off of his throws. Flashes the ability to throw with anticipation toward the boundary and down the field. Keeps his eyes downfield when fleeing the pocket.
Shows a pretty good feel for pressure. Able to climb the pocket and buy time. Tough enough to stand in and take a hit. Throws from a stable base and transfers weight effectively. Has a high release point and consistent follow-through. Sound decision-maker who limits questionable throws. Shows the ability to make anticipatory throws, and throw receivers open. Trusts his arm strength and doesn’t need to see wide-open receivers to throw. Arm talent is very good, with the ability to crank up the velocity as needed. Passes come with appropriate touch. Can drop passes in the bucket down the sidelines. Beautiful timing, touch, and placement on his back-shoulder throws.
