Maddox had an excellent Sophomore season in 2022. The 3 star prospect shows great position versatility as he plays both MLB and OLB. Against the run, he shows very good football intelligence as he quickly reads run/pass. He displays excellent play strength with quality use of hands and physical toughness as he disengages from the IOL with ease. He quickly locates the RB and consistently takes the correct angle in pursuit before making the tackle near the LOS. Against the pass, he does a great job of reading the QB while dropping back into coverage. He plays with very good range and closing speed as he makes the tackle on WR preventing a significant gain.
Highlights
In 2022, Shiren had a great season as he helped the KIPP Columbus Jaguars hold opposing offenses to 13 points or less 5 times. He plays as a MLB. Against the run, he times the snap really well and quickly penetrates the LOS. He shows very good range in pursuit and makes the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL. Against the pass, he reacts quickly to the ball being thrown, shows great play speed in pursuit and delivers a big hit preventing a first down. He shows very good competitive toughness as he rises to the occasion near the goal line.
In 2022, Keenan helped the Winton Woods Warriors to a 12-win season, held opposing offenses to 13.1 points per game and advance to the 3rd round of the playoffs. He plays as an OLB. Against the run, he plays with very good range, instincts and play speed as he catches the RB from behind preventing a TD. He does a good job of putting his helmet on the ball and forcing a fumble. Against the pass, he uses his excellent burst off the ball to quickly penetrate the LOS. He shows good closing speed in pursuit and forces the QB to pass the ball earlier than anticipated leading to an incomplete pass.

In 2022, Jackson helped the Springfield Wildcats to a 13-win season where they held opposing offenses to 13 points per game and advanced to the Division I State Championship game. He plays as an EDGE. Against the pass, he is quick off the ball and displays very good play strength and physical toughness as he quickly disengages from the OT. He displays elite closing speed in pursuit and finishes up with a sack. Against the run, he displays good use of hands as he delivers a well-timed punch to the frame of the OL and sheds the block. He locates the RB while playing with good leverage and makes the tackle preventing a gain of significant yardage.
In 2022, Zack helped the Bishop Watterson Eagles to a 12-win season where they held opposing offenses to 14.4 points per game and advanced to the 4th round of the playoffs. He plays as an OLB. Against the pass, he shows very good awareness as he patrols his zone while reading the QB. He displays good closing speed when the ball the thrown and delivers a big hit to the receiver preventing a first down. Against the run, he plays with good leverage and uses his very good use of hands and play strength to disengage from the TE. He shows good form as he wraps up and makes the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.
