<p>I'm back looking at some talented California prospects from my travels. These young men were names that impressed me on and off the field at some of my California photoshoots. Some of the prospects featured are no-brainer power-five prospects and some are sleepers waiting to be discovered. <p>Cahlil Snead, 5‘11“ 150 is a slot receiver with soft hands and good burst. On the defensive side of the ball, he has played both strong safety and corner. He's good in zone defense and can make plays from sideline to sideline. Was all-league in 2022. Holds a 3.0 GPA. Class of 2024.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='683615' first='Jalen' last='Harris'] 6' 170 of Berkeley HS really impressed me with his ability as an all-around running back, he can run, catch and block. Also, plays safety on defense. Holds a 3.7 GPA. Second team all-league at running back. Impressive athlete with big-time skills.</p>

<p>BJ Thurman, 6‘4“ 210 class of 2025 wide receiver from Berkeley HS has the size, length, hands, and 4.5 speed. An impressive looking athlete who improved with every game. Averaged 21 yards per catch as a sophomore. Holds a 3.3 GPA. Rising star and one of the top prospects in northern California.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1344403' first='Lucas' last='Cord'], 6‘1“ 185 Berkeley HS is another one of those top athletes who can play numerous positions. The class of 2025 product has played running back, fullback, slot receiver, outside receiver, outside linebacker, and middle linebacker. Smart, instinctive, and very productive. Runs the sprints and was named all-league at linebacker. Holds a 3.1 GPA. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='723684' first='Maki' last='Stewart'] 6‘5“ 310 is an outstanding tackle from Bishop Alemany in the 2025 class. Shows quick hands, outstanding footwork, and excellent technique. First-team all-league as a sophomore. Finished 2022 with 58 pancake blocks.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='273557' first='Damon' last='Wrighster'] 6'3” 175 is one of the top quarterback prospects in Southern California. He's smart with a live arm, good instincts, and excellent running skills. Can do it all and improves with every game. Holds a 3.5 GPA. Great upside and you got to love his attitude.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='401217' first='Anthony' last='Jones'] 6‘4“ 215 defensive end for Bishop Alemany is a rising star who should become a national recruit in a year or two. Very impressive get-off, quick hands/feet, and exceptional closing speed. Has the length, body control, and athletic ability to stand out. Very impressive freshman film.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1598350' first='Savaughn' last='Gentle'], 5‘11“ 186 is a 2026 two-way prospect from Bishop Alemany. Shows the ability to play flanker, slot receiver, cornerback, and strong safety. Smart with great range and hands. Excellent ball skills and is a natural athlete.</p>

<p>Darren Coleman, 6' 185 plays linebacker for Bishop Alemany and is known for his hard-hitting style of play. Shows outstanding ball skills on defense at linebacker and can break down in space & make plays. On offense, he is a running back with excellent vision, balance, and burst. Class of 2026 prospect with plenty of varsity action as a freshman.</p>

<p>Anthony Hastings, 6‘3“ 290 from Bishop Alemany is a versatile offensive lineman who can play tackle or guard. Very agile for someone his size and is also an outstanding heavyweight wrestler in the class of 2025. Dominates at the point of attack and excels as a run blocker showing good lateral quickness.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1645758' first='Stacy' last='Gentle'], 6' 163 of Bishop Alemany is a strong safety in the class of 2025 known for his range, hard hits, and leadership ability. Very physical with excellent instincts and shows good speed to the ball. A talented defender with a bright future.</p>
