There were college coaches on hand to observe the prospects throughout the combine. There was a lot of talent on display during the combine. The prospects that caught my attention throughout the combine are covered in the two-part review.
Jacoby Martin Jacoby Martin 6'1" | 210 lbs | DL Richmond | 2024 State NC – DL, 6’2″ 245 (No. 31 DL, No. 285 Overall), Richmond HS. Jacoby displayed good technique and violent hands to control blockers during the one-on-one drills. He moved with quickness and the ability to change directions quickly while participating in the agility drills. The 2024 prospect should start to generate recruiting opportunities during his participation in Summer Prospect Camps.
Miles Parker Miles Parker 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Jacksonville | 2024 NC – DL, 6’4″ 245 (No. 56 DL, Watchlist), Jacksonville HS. Miles moved with quickness and the ability to change directions quickly while participating in the agility drills. He displayed good technique and use of hands to control blockers during the one-on-one drills. The 2024 prospect should start to generate recruiting opportunities during his participation in Summer Prospect Camps.
Luke Faulkner Luke Faulkner 5'11" | 205 lbs | LB Southern Nash | 2026 State NC – LB, 5’11” 200 (No. 5 LB, No. 41 Overall), Southern Nash HS. Luke displayed refined footwork and good technique while participating in the agility drills. He displayed good lateral movement and speed to cover on the short pass plays during the one-on-one drills. Luke displayed quickness and upper body strength to control much larger offensive linemen. The 2026 prospect is receiving recruiting interest from Power5 and D1 schools to participate in Summer Prospect Camps.
Cameron Melvin – LB, 5’11” 215 (No. 2 ATH, No. 18 Overall), Cleveland HS. Cameron displayed precision footwork and good technique while participating in the agility drills. He displayed good lateral movement and speed to cover on short pass plays during the one-on-one drills. Cameron displayed quickness and upper body strength to control much larger offensive linemen. The 2026 prospect is receiving recruiting opportunities from Power5 and D1 schools to participate in Summer Prospect Camps.
Cole Searight Cole Searight 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB Marvin Ridge | 2024 NC – ATH, 6’0″ 185 (No. 8 ATH, No. 58 Overall), Marvin Ridge HS. Cole displayed the ability to change directions quickly and speed to cover receivers during the one-on-one drills. He displayed good technique and strength to control receivers, making it difficult to complete a pass against him. Cole displayed quickness and the ability to change directions quickly while participating in the agility drills. The 2024 prospect has received D1 offers, more are expected to come in for him during his participation in Summer Prospect Camps.
Jayden Ferguson Jayden Ferguson 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Millbrook | 2024 State NC – LB, 5’11” 190 (No. 18 LB, No. 129 Overall), Millbrook HS. Jayden displayed precision footwork and speed while participating in the agility drills. He displayed good technique and good lateral movement to cover on short pass plays during the one-on-one drills. Jayden is a talented linebacker who should already have offers. The 2024 prospect is receiving recruiting opportunities from D1 schools to participate in Summer Prospect Camps.
