Peoples pops off the film with his ability to line up all over the Miners defense and make plays. He does a great job reading quarterbacks eyes and makes great plays on the ball in the air. Peoples excels at fighting for passes and can come away with contested catches for interceptions. He’s an elite tackler making him the perfect last line of defense for any team. Peoples does a good job avoiding blockers before flying in to make stops in the open field. He didn’t let receivers get behind him and broke up plenty of potential big plays for Bingham in 2022.

Matsumori possesses excellent instincts that will make him an exceptional corner sooner rather than later. He’s a stout run defender who can get through receivers’ blocks and make tackles on running backs before they can turn the corner. Matsumori can blow up bubble screens by driving the receiver attempting to block him three yards into the other receiver waiting to receive the pass. He’s an elite athlete who can run with some of the top receivers in his class. Matsumori should be a big part of the Titans defenses for the next three seasons.

Syphus possesses exceptional closing speed he uses to make plays and errant throws. If quarterbacks throw a pass that hangs in the air too long or is behind their intended receiver, Syphus can take it back the other way for six. The Stallion’s freshmen defensive back plays both ways but still brings his all every snap he’s on the field. He can patrol the back end of the defense or come down in the box and cover receivers. In addition, Syphus can fly in and break up passes on short routes or deep passing plays. He does a good job sticking with pass catchers and can limit an offense’s big play ability.

Arocha possesses great hips and provides lockdown coverage all game long. He quickly reacts to the movements of the receivers he’s defending and can stay with them as if he’s their shadow. Arocha can get in receivers faces and jam them at the line, or he can play off coverage. The Ben Lomond defensive back can quickly close on slant routes where he times his pass breakups perfectly to avoid drawing a penalty. He’s also a physical run defender who does a good job wrapping up. In addition, Arocha’s impressive hustle helps him track down ball carriers from behind.
