2025 Friday Film Session (Spring Ball)

<p>There are some guys that had some nice film from this past week. Looks like we are in for another great year in Mississippi. We also have some new guys hitting the radar that haven't been talked about much. Let's check it out. </p>

<p>Ruffin has seen his stock rise this summer. He recently did a great job at the Rivals Camp in Dallas. Ruffin did a great job in his spring game. You can tell he has learned a lot this off-season. Ruffin is a 6-foot-2 defensive back that is aggressive. He can be supportive in the run game or passing game. Ruffin should see some offers coming his way soon.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='920462' first='John' last='Wood'], QB, Itawamba </strong></h2>

<p>Wood was on the money during his spring game. The throws he was making were incredible. Wood is a very big quarterback that can also run. He was very active in the pocket. Wood isn't stiff so he can extend plays when he needs to. Itawamba is going to enjoy watching this kid ball over the next two years.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Trey Jones, WR, Noxubee </strong></h2>

<p>Jones did a good job in his spring game. He scored a touchdown and had a few catches. Jones is going to be a big time playmaker for his team this season. Jones is a guy that will see a lot of hand offs this season also. He is a guy you want to get the football quick so he can make some things happen with his legs. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Kenyan Chatman, WR, Natchez</strong></h2>

<p>I was very impressed with the way Chatman ran his routes. This young man knows how to get open. He is also very fast. There aren't many guys who are going to be able to stick with him on the islands. Chatman also has a natural catching ability. This is going to be a breakout season for him.</p>
