Standing at 6’1″ 160, Keon possesses an athletic build and impressive agility on the field. His smooth route running ability allows him to create separation from defenders, making him a reliable target in the passing game. Keon’s versatility is a valuable asset, as he can be utilized in various positions across the formation, whether it be in the slot or out at the X or Z spots. Whether it’s stretching the field as a deep threat or making plays in the screen game, Keon’s speed and quickness make him a dynamic weapon. BJ Johnson
BJ Johnson has been a huge riser in spring this year, earning offers from WKU and EKU in May. When you turn on the tape, it is not hard to tell why. His exceptional ball-tracking skills and ability to find open spaces in a defense jump at you at first glance. BJ’s knack for locating the ball in the air gives him a huge big play ability when it comes to making contested catches and winning battles against defenders. His understanding of defensive coverages and his ability to find space in the opposing team’s defense make him a reliable target for his quarterback. BJ can also be a big time play maker in the screen game, as he has the natural ability to gain additional yardage and make plays in the open field. The sky is the limit for this guy – watch as he becomes one of the top dogs in the 2024 class this summer.
A former quarterback turned wide out last season, Cayden Burger Cayden Burger 6’0″ | 175 lbs | ATH Petal | 2024 State MS had a huge season as a junior. Cayden’s reliable hands make him a consistent target, as he consistently hauls in catches with ease. His route running ability allows him to create separation from defenders and find open windows in the defense. Impressively, Cayden excels at winning battles against press coverage, utilizing his technique to easily beat corners that come at him at the line of scrimmage. Additionally, Cayden’s athleticism and open-field ability enable him to make big plays on designed runs, showcasing his versatility as a playmaker. This is the type of wide out prospect that can be a 3 year starter at the next level due to his natural athleticism and technique. He has some of the best ball skills in the class.
