Antavious Murphy Antavious Murphy 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Bainbridge | 2024 State GA – Bainbridge
A game-changing receiver and one of the top overall playmakers in South Georgia, Murphy is a quick, versatile 5-foot-10 165-pounder can make plays open both sides of the ball, but really shined on a consistent basis last year as a junior. He’s a good athlete with impressive ball skills who knows how to get open and make big plays down the field. His recruitment hasn’t exactly taken off just yet, but there’s a big chance it will down the road. He had a breakout 2022 season last year, catching 69 passes for 10,90 yards and an eye-opening 15 touchdowns. He caught at least nine passes in three games last year, with his best game coming against Cairo where he went off for nine catches, 174 yards and three touchdowns.
Javaris Harris – Greene County
A speedy junior receiver with straight-line speed and the ability to take off down the field, Harris is an dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands with the ability to escape defenders down the field. The 5-foot-11 170-pounder is an elusive wideout with excellent hands and the ability to take over games. He brings 4.41 speed and dominated in eight games last year, catching 54 passes for 915 yards and 12 touchdowns. He ended the season as well as any receiver in the area, catching 19 passes for 385 yards and five touchdowns in his final three games of the season. His best game came against Oglethorpe County where he went off for 14 catches for 221 yards and four touchdowns. An easy vertical option, Harris is also a major weapon in the screen and short passing game due to his explosiveness and burst down the field. Easily one of the more underrated receivers in the state, look for Harris to have a gigantic senior season in the fall.
Jeremy Bell – Clinch County
An explosive wideout from South Georgia that should be getting a lot more attention, Bell is an athletic receiver with plenty of speed and impressive ball skills. Another vertical threat who is dangerous after the catch, Bell way a go-top option in the passing game all season long in 2022 for the Clinch County offense. He’s a guy who plays bigger than his size who can get up in the air and catch the ball at it’s highest point. He shows good footwork, he’s quick off the line, and has a knack for finding his way behind defenses. He caught 31 passes last year for an impressive 742 yards and and 10 touchdowns, leading Clinch County to a solid 10-3 season. Without a doubt one of thee more underrated receivers in Georgia, Bell has D1-caliber speed, claiming a 4.45 time in the 40-yard dash. He also has good size on him at 6-foot-1 175-pounds with a giant wingspan. He looks the part of a D1 receiver and played like one last year for Clinch County.
TJ Mitchell TJ Mitchell 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Troup County | 2024 State GA – Brunswick
One of the top receivers in Southeast Georgia out of Brunswick, Mitchell is somehow still flying under the radar after an impressive junior season where he caught 44 passes for 980 yards and 11 touchdowns. An excellent route-runner, Mitchell can stop on a dime and leave defensive backs grasping for air. He shows good footwork, burst, and of course, the ability to catch the football and take off down the field. He’s outstanding after the catch and knows how to maneuver his way through defenders for a big gain. He’s shifty, a natural runner, and can make plays for the Pirates in a number of different ways. Whether he’s playing receiver, running back, or returning punts and kicks, Mitchell is a big-play waiting to happen any time he has the ball in his hands. A true game-changer at times, Mitchell led the 10-1 Pirates in receiving and has a chance to have a gigantic senior season in 2023. He may not be the biggest receiver in the area, but he’s absolutely one of the best overall playmakers.
