Darian Kirkland
Darian Kirkland 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH | 2025
FL

With the 2023 spring season starting all over the State, I wanted to go in-depth about some guys who's stock is trending upwards. These players are all talented and have college level ability. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

Cecil Crawford, RB/ATH- Southeast High c/o 24

5'9 190lbs

Crawford is a player that I think Southeast High is really going to depend on this season to try and help them turn the corner, and get back to being the dominant program that they were in the past. Crawford is an intriguing player, who's a stoutly built back that runs with good power (405 squat) and forward lean, He shows really good lateral agility and the vision to pick his spots and find the cutback lanes, shows a variety of moves at the second level to keep churning out positive yards. He could be one of the best surprise players in the district this season.

Film: https://www.hudl.com/profile/16376168/Cecil-Crawford

Antonio Vazquez, LB/TE- Robert Munroe High c/o 25

6'0 225lbs

Vazquez is a player that coaches are going to want to head over to Quincy, Florida this Spring and check out. He's a rising junior that really played well last season registering 73 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 1 INT ,and a forced fumble. Vazquez shows good timing on his blitzes and possesses good short area acceleration, has position versatility and can play off the edge where he flashes good pass rush ability. Smart student athlete that possesses a 3.8 GPA. Player who's stock is on the rise!

Film: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11471192/Antonio-Vazquez

[player_tooltip player_id='1230854' first='Darian' last='Kirkland'], DB/ATH- Avon Park High c/o 25

6'2 165lbs

Kirkland is an under the radar two-way player that was excellent on both sides of the ball this season. He's a two-sport athlete (Track) that registered 14 catches for 232 yards and 2 touchdowns on the offensive side if the ball, and on defense he finished fourth on the team with 34 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 1 INT, and a forced fumble. Kirkland is a versatile athlete who's smooth movements allow him to be very effective out in space, shows good closing speed to the ball and is willing to mix it up in the run game, on the offensive side of the ball flashes good ability at the receiver position. Could play on either side of the ball at the next level.

Film: https://www.hudl.com/profile/16891875/Darian-Kirkland

Hale Sollmann, LB- Durant High c/o 25

6'1 200lbs

Durant has had some good linebackers over the last several seasons, and Sollmann is the next in line. The rising junior was part of a good defense that helped lead the Cougars to an 8-3 record and a spot in the State playoffs last season. Sollmann led Durant in tackles last season with 75, he also chipped in with 13 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and fumble recovery. He's a head hunting linebacker that offers downhill burst, explodes through ball carriers, and is very physical in the run game. Sollmann does a good job using his hands/strength to fight off blocks, and is a smart (4.0 GPA) player that trusts his eyes and can dissect plays quickly. He could end up being one of the best line backers in the Tampa Bay area this season.

Film: https://www.hudl.com/profile/16279206/Hale-Sollmann
