Enjoys learning about History in school and loves to play the Bass in his school Orchestra Band. A good student athlete with an outgoing personality that wants to pursue a career in Athletic Training. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Athletic Profile: </strong>Play quickness, movement, and quick feet. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Skill Set/Fit:</strong> Somerville is the Pioneer's Left Tackle with the versatility to play both Tackle positions. Shows bend and movement at the LOS. As a run blocker, he shows leg drive and brings his feet. Good initial movement to pull from the Tackle position and follow through. Sets his base, strong hands to engage defender, and sustains his feet to stay in front of pass rushers in pass protection. Sets base, gives initial contact, sustains feet and balance in pass protection. Has good bend and balance in his stance. As a run blocker, he shows good explosion with leg drive, strength, and brings feet. Can run block on the move to cut off linebackers and initial movement to pull from the tackle position and follow through. Sets base, gives initial contact and sustains feet and balance in pass protection.
