Prep Redzone Arkansas will be at the Prep Redzone Showcase this weekend in Little Rock and we wanted to get a jump on the recruiting news making headlines this week. As always, it has been a busy week with plenty of scholarship offers being extended and visits taking place. Time to get caught up on the recruiting news across the Natural State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149580' first='Drake' last='Lindsey']-Quarterback-Fayetteville-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Fayetteville signal caller has started to build some recruiting momentum as spring football starts to heat up this offseason. Lindsey has a strong arm and can throw wide receivers open with little effort. During the course of the week, Lindsey earned scholarship offers from South Alabama and Tulsa. He is a quarterback that I expect to have a strong senior season for the Bulldogs. The arm strength and his accuracy have the potential to give opposing defenses plenty of problems this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='403361' first='Joseph' last='McVay']-Wide Receiver-Earle-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Earle wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='403361' first='Joseph' last='McVay'] has built plenty of recruiting momentum heading into the offseason. McVay is a wide receiver that has impressive speed and can stretch the field deep. Over the past few weeks, plenty of college scout have taken notice. McVay has earned scholarship offers from 2024South Carolina, Penn State, and Texas A&amp;M. The ability to create separation and his speed is going to make him a major recruiting target this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='240083' first='Jalen' last='Dupree']-Running Back-Malvern-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the most productive running backs in the state of Arkansas. [player_tooltip player_id='240083' first='Jalen' last='Dupree'] is opening plenty of eyes on the recruiting trail of late. Over the past few weeks, Dupree received scholarship offers from Eastern Michigan and Army. Meanwhile, the talented Malvern running back had a terrific visit at Arkansas State. The school that lands him, gets a running back that is every down back and a gamebreaker. He is a prospect to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis']-Linebacker-Little Rock Christian-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past few years, [player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis'] has been a linebacker that has played all over the field for the Warriors. Last season, he racked up 108 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, and 12 tackles for loss. He is a prospect at the linebacker spot that makes life difficult on opposing offensive lines. The talented Little Rock Christian linebacker earned a scholarship offer from Tennessee-Martin earlier in the week. He is a prospect at linebacker that has the potential to do big things at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='260284' first='Aquavious' last='Dunbar']-Athlete-Lakeside -2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='260284' first='Aquavious' last='Dunbar'] is an extremely versatile prospect for Lakeside. On the offensive side of the ball, Dunbar does a great job of breaking tackles and getting into the secondary. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, Dunbar is impressive in the secondary. Dunbar can play the safety or cornerback positions in the secondary. Earlier in the week, Dunbar visited Arkansas-Pine Bluff and received a scholarship from Alcorn State. He is a prospect to watch out for this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Austyn Dendy-Running Back-Pine Bluff-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Pine Bluff running back mixes impressive power with good speed. He some built plenty of recruiting momentum heading into the summer. The talented Pine Bluff Zebra earned scholarship offers from Arkansas State and Michigan State this week. Dendy does a great job of breaking into the open field and is a nightmare to bring down. I look for him to have a big senior season in 2023.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='304269' first='TJ' last='Lindsey']-Defensive Line-Bryant-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The recruiting momentum for [player_tooltip player_id='304269' first='TJ' last='Lindsey'] has exploded over the past few months. He is a force on the defensive line. Lindsey does a great job of getting into the opposing offensive backfield and pressuring the quarterback. Meanwhile, he is player that can defeat blocks and shut down the opponent's rushing attack. This weekend, Lindsey will be visiting the Oregon Ducks as he looks to narrow down the teams in pursuit of his services. Look for Lindsey to be a major priority for college scouts this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
