The Prep Redzone Carolinas Showcase featured some great talent competing hard in front of college coaches. Several players stood out to the scouts and coaches in attendance, let's take a look at the Wide Receivers and Offensive Linemen here.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='797151' first='Nick' last='Bierman'] - Charlotte Catholic - Nick was very impressive throughout this whole showcase. I've seen him before, and he has improved his quickness in and out of his breaks, that's the first thing I loved. He had strong releases versus press coverage in 1 on 1's, as well as showing good catching techniques on balls thrown at multiple angles. At 5'9, he looks like a strong slo[player_tooltip player_id='246436' first='t' last='r']eceiver who can make tough catches all over the field. A 2025 recruit, I think colleges will be definitely adding him to recruiting boards as he hits the summer camp circuit.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='705385' first='Fisher' last='Leftwich'] - North Surry - A 2026 prospect, I felt like Fisher moved very smoothly and confidently throughout the showcase, no matter what he was doing. He stands at 6'0 and 160 pounds, though honestly, he looks taller than that in person. Fisher high-pointed the ball well in 1 on 1's and showed strong hands, I don't think he dropped a pass all day - either through drills or 1 on 1 competition. I'm excited to see his growth as he continues to get stronger and develop going into his sophomore year.

OL Shedrick Sarratt - Gaffney (SC) - Shedrick was definitely the talk of the showcase for sure. He stands at 6'5 and 305 pounds, and he moves very well for his size - I think he can definitely play guard and can hold his own at tackle against most current high school football players. He's very strong at the point of attack - at times he was stunting defensive linemen and putting them on the ground at the snap with his punch in pass protection. He's a 2025 prospect and somehow he's under the radar, but I suspect this won't last much longer as he enters the summer camp season. Big-time potential for this young man.

OL [player_tooltip player_id='120038' first='Tyler' last='Clark'] - Jordan - I just saw Tyler at the HBCU Carolinas Showcase Thursday Night, and he's a strong interior offensive line prospect. In the 2024 class, he stands at 6'3 and 280 pounds. I like his strength at the point of attack, he doesn't give ground very easily against defensive tackles and interior pass rushers. Some coaches believe he could be a Division 1 level player at the right position on the interior of the line, and I would tend to agree with them. I would expect him to start seeing recruiting attention as we get closer to the season in the fall.

OL [player_tooltip player_id='304873' first='Divon' last='Dabney'] - South Granville - Divon was the first player I noticed based on how well he moved running the 40 based on his size. He stands at 6'4 and 298 pounds, and I think his best fit is at guard on the next level. He's a strong run blocker and can be stout against other big defensive tackles - no one is going to push the pocket on a bull rush against him. He has received some recruiting interest from multiple schools, and with a strong summer should start seeing recruiting interest in the fall.
