Jordan Magee
Jordan Magee is a solidly built, dual threat Quarterback with loads of potential and upside. Jordan is listed as an ATH/RB, which makes sense with how how effective he is using his legs. He has deceptive speed and the ability to get in and out of his cuts in a hurry. Last year the 2025 prospect was able to put up some respectable numbers in his Sophomore season. He put up 1776 total yards of offense with nearly 1000 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns. Jordan showed flashes of his aptitude as a passer as well. Magee has decent arm mechanics, great feet within the pocket, and a quick release on his throwing motion. On tape he showed his arm strength and accuracy on short passes as well as his deep balls. This kid is under the radar for now, but I expect him to have a breakout Junior Year to turn heads this fall.
Bryan Dotson
Bryan Dotson
Bryan Dotson is a 5’11, 185 pound 2025 prospect out of McEvans. He is a raw prospect that has great capabilities at several positions, especially at his age. Dotson was able to gain valuable experience, as a Sophomore, as his him and his guys made their way to the state title game. Dotson has film at a bevvy of positions that include: Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Slot, and Outside Linebacker. Offensively he was able to total 4 touchdowns, rushing and receiving. Defensively, Dotson put up 66 tackles. 6 sacks, and 3 fumble recoveries. Bryan is the type of player that adds value to any team he’s apart of. He is strong, fast, and physical and it is apparent to see on his tape. He was a part of that group of stud athletes out of McEvans that gave teams a ton of trouble this past year. With a few seniors on the way out, I expect Bryan’s usage rate on offense to increase as well as his statistics. Defensively I expect more of the same and also a increase in his numbers.
Alonzo Newsom
Alonzo Newsom
Alonzo Newsome is a promising is a 6’1 defensive back that is technically sound and has a high ceiling. Newsome was able to make plays on a consistent basis last season. This year, I expect, will be a break out year for this young prospect as he continues to improve his overall game. Zo Newsome has a nice frame and build with instincts and athletic prowess required of a defender. Alonzo is a coverage corner to the core, but he has shown the ability to be a help in run support as well. He has film of him shedding blocks and making plays on ball carriers when needed. This will be a pivotal off-season for Alonzo leading into his Junior campaign. He has been sharpening his sword in terms of his technique and coverage via 7v7 and with individual training. His recruitment is starting to pick up, but this is just the beginning for the 2025 prospect!
Kivan Stewart
Kivan Stewart
Kivan Stewart is a young prospect out of South Pike with great speed and a slight physical presence despite his stature. He is a exceptional athlete with the quickness and the ability to redirect seamlessly. Stewart is developing well as a defensive back; his technique is pretty good and he covers ground quickly in the secondary. Kivan plays the game at 100 miles an hour, which often works in his favor. Stewart will excel as a Nickelback due to his fearless mentality and style of play, but he has film from last year at Safety as well as Corner. This kid brings the wood when stifling defenders to make tackles that are reminiscent of Johnathan Abrams. Kivan Stewart is another prospect that can have a huge Junior year this fall if he develops how I assume he will.
Ja’Lyen Judson
Ja’Lyen Judson
Ja’Lyen Judson is a technically sound Defensive Back going into his junior season. The 6’0 Corner has long arms, fluid hips, and great physical instincts. Judson has a good feel for his position that allows him to make play for his defense. Once he assesses the play, he relies on his quick twitch ability to help him make the necessary plays. Ja’Lyen has shown great feet and technique on tape and decent ball skills to go along with them! I was most impressed by how he was able to track the ball in the air. In other words, he may not have the numbers as far as interceptions, but he was able to get in between the receiver and the ball. In just 7 games last year Ja’Lyen was able to put some impressive things on tape. In his Junior year, I can see things coming together for him as he improves as a prospect.
