Pennsylvania Off-season Program Outlook: Reading

In the previous 2 seasons combined, Reading had won 1 game, so a good start to Godinet's coaching career. Several people who followed Reading noticed that Reading looked like a different team last year. They played as a team and played hard. Coach Godinet deserves a ton of credit for it. We played our 1st team All-State player with [player_tooltip player_id='27743' first='Amier' last='Burdine'] since 2003 while having Ruben Rodriguez become Co-Lancaster-Lebanon League Wide Receiver of the Year. Very proud of the fact that our team had 21 players with a 3.0+ GPA and served over 100 hours of community service collectively. We were very young at some key positions but we look forward to continuing to #Climb! 26 turnovers from our young defense. Our kids have bought into a great group of coaches who created a standard of being great at all aspects of life. We feel we left a few games on the table, but we also knew we were young. We now have expectations for some of those young guys to step up into leaders and experienced players". </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2023 Season Outlook</strong>:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After winning 3 games last year I expect Reading to try to match that win total or even add a game or 2 on top of it. It will be difficult because the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1 is really difficult. Reading is trying to get to the level of Manheim Township, Hempfield, and Wilson.
