The number could increase after Crosby (pictured) won honors for Top Offensive Skill at the Palmetto Combine South underclassmen event Saturday afternoon at Woodland High School.

This was the second year of the event, which drew 139 participants in the afternoon session alone (for underclassmen). Along with increased numbers, event organizer Neal Smith said the talent level was "way up".

"I was more impressed with the underclassmen. Even the sophomores, I thought, were really impressive this go round," he said. "I think the future is very bright for South Carolina if we have players like that coming up."
