YORK | The underclassmen in Sunday's Palmetto Combine at York Comprehensive were impressive to watch – especially the offensive and defensive linemen.

Let's jump into some quick hitters from the afternoon session. Here's a look at our observations from the morning session if you missed it from Monday.

Riverside DB [player_tooltip player_id='1573976' first='Spencer' last='Adderley'] caught our eye during the pro shuttle as he is quick and has solid lateral movements. The same can be said for Northwestern WR Jayden Nichols (pictured above), who can stick his foot in the ground without losing balance. Nichols won the award for best offensive skill at the end of the session.

The ability to keep your balance on turf during that drill is not as easy as it looks.

Clinton RB Javan Cook showed solid acceleration after hitting the cone and his momentum didn't slow down.

40 YARD DASH

We thought Northwestern QB [player_tooltip player_id='241044' first='Finley' last='Polk'] showed some wheels on him – he's a little bit quicker than you think.

Byrnes DL Sharrod Wilkins (5.26), Blue Ridge OL Jackson Lanier (5.4) and Lewisville OL Ethan Shipman (5.31) all sprinted through the line quickly during their 40.

AWARDS

Clover RB [player_tooltip player_id='1012627' first='Landon' last='Stone'] – Best Pro Shuttle with a 4.32.
