As referenced there is always a lot yet to be determined when it comes to freshman athletes, so expect this list to change a great deal in the months and years ahead. As of right now have a look at the top 26's as we breakdown #1-20.

1.[player_tooltip player_id='284119' first='Ansu' last='Sanoe'] 6-2 210 RB Lakeridge OFFERS: Oregon, Oregon St, Miami, Cal, Colorado

Sanoe has the potential of being one of the nation's top recruits for his class. As a freshman he had 100 touches for 729 yards and 9 TDs, averaging 7.4 yards per carry in the state's toughest conference. His early offers and elite size and strength speaks for itself.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='457009' first='Sam' last='Vyhlidal'] 6-4 190 ATH Mountainside

Expect Vyhlidal to be one of the most talked about athletes in the region on the football and baseball field. He will only continue to add size on an already impressive frame, after scoring multiple TDs at the varsity level as a freshman. He will project as a 1st team all Metro guy next season.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] 6-3 225 LB/RB Sherwood

Tishendorf has unique size and speed for such a young athlete. He could be one of the top players in the Pacific Conference next year if the Bowmen give him the rock. As good as he is on offense, he has the potential of being one of the top ranked OLBs in the West.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='402395' first='Braxton' last='Singleton'] 6-2 190 WR North Salem

Look for Singleton to be a major D1 recruit, coming from an impressive family. The biggest question mark will come with the Vikings offense and how little they throw. He got some varsity time as a freshman and should be a go to guy as a sophomore.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='402418' first='Marcus' last='Post'] 6-0 180 S Lakeridge

Post had a phenomenal freshman season in the brutally tough TRL, earning honorable mention all conference accolades defensively. He finished with 58 total tackles, 6 PBUs and 1 INT, while catching 26 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown. Definitely a special athlete with a real shot to play a high level of D1 ball with continued progression.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='769921' first='Silas' last='Reynolds'] 6-2 175 WR West Linn

One of the fastest athletes in the entire Northwest. The state champion Lions are loaded at every position so it's typically tough for some of the younger guys to get on the field. That said as Reynolds could be the exception, as he will project as one of the top football & track athletes in Oregon.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='769993' first='Rasean' last='Jones'] 6-2 195 WR Baker

As a freshman Jones earned 4A all state honors, after running the fastest hurdle time in the nation last year among 8th graders. It's rare to have a high profile prospect playing small school Oregon ball, but he could be that guy.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='770046' first='Quinn' last='Wicklow'] 6-7 210 T Jesuit

There is still a lot yet to be determined here but you can't teach 6-7 with some of his unique intangibles. One respected coach/scout says, "He's an incredibly hard worker and super humble, with limitless potential." His basketball ability speaks to his overall athleticism as he could end up at TE. Regardless the kids a player.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='769922' first='Zach' last='VandenBrink'] 6-1 195 LB West Linn

VandenBrink comes from an impressive family with his brother committed to Oregon St for baseball, and both of them listed as two of top baseball players in the Northwest. That said as Zach will project as a D1 athlete on the football field and one of the top LBs in the region.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='769995' first='Evan' last='Wusstig'] 5-11 160 ATH West Salem

Look for Wusstig to be one of the top athletes in the Valley as a sophomore, while projecting as a potential 1st team all conference kid. He was dominant against his peers last season and could be one of the top dual threat kids in Oregon. As most know he is the brother of PSU commit Zack Wusstig who I forsee being one of the top DBs in the Big Sky.

11.[player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] 5-10 170 RB Lake Oswego

The Lakers have produced some of the state's top RBs over the years and Bell could be another one. Watch him on the track and you see why the LO community is so excited. As a freshman he went for 1,362 all purpose yards and 21 TDs at the JV level.

12.[player_tooltip player_id='402406' first='Donnie' last='Vercher III'] 6-2 210 LB Central Catholic

Vercher has a chance to be that dude. He plays with a no non sense demeanor and comes hard each and every play. The Rams are deep and will once again be a state title contender, with DV3 potentially being a factor as a sophomore.

13.[player_tooltip player_id='769924' first='Kalani' last='Iaopo'] 6-2 270 DL West Linn

Most 6A programs would have had Iaopo starting as a freshman on their line, but the state champion Lions were that deep. Look for him to dominate on the interior as he could very well be a 3x 1st team All TRL kid.

14.[player_tooltip player_id='769923' first='Bryce' last='May'] 6-3 300 DT Cascade

Another 4A athlete who could potentially blow up in the years ahead. May could add some legit size to his already impressive frame, and is mobile to boot. The sky is the limit.

15.[player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] 5-11 165 WR Beaverton

Very few if any freshman earn all conference honors at the 6A level. Luebkert was a 2nd team all Metro kid on a team that struggled, making the accolades that much more impressive.

16.[player_tooltip player_id='770005' first='Makana' last='Brown'] 6-1 175 ATH/OLB South Medford

Just a good overall athlete. He can play that OLB spot or be your QB. Brown garnered a ton of respect from his peers on the 7v7 circuit and will project as one of the top players in the SWC. Look for him to get in the mix as a sophomore.

17.[player_tooltip player_id='770004' first='Dawson' last='Graves'] 6-0 220 LB Grants Pass

Over the years GP has produced some tough kids and top athletes down South. Graves looks to be another one as he can run the ball, while projecting at backer.

18.[player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] 5-10 165 ATH Jesuit

Stimpson made a name for himself as part of team Alpha, garnering a massive amount of respect in the process. This is definitely a kid you don't realize is a freak athlete. If he continues to progress he's a potential d1 slot.

19.[player_tooltip player_id='402412' first='Joe' last='Weiler'] 6-5 220 OL/DL Lakeridge

Both of the Weiler kids will be two of the top players in Oregon at the 6A level. Joe could potentially climb this list quick as he has the size to play a high level of collegiate ball.

20.[player_tooltip player_id='769988' first='Taesean' last='Tarusan'] 5-10 155 ATH Sheldon

The Irish graduate a deep group and Tarusan could step in and make an immediate impact for the team next season. Playing at the JV level he scored almost every way possible.
