1.[player_tooltip player_id='152653' first='Zhaiel' last='Smith'] 6-0 185 ATH Central Catholic OFFERS: Arizona St

2022 SEASON: Zhaiel backed up his #1 ranking in a big way, catching 35 passes for 951 yards (21.7 ypc) and 13 TDs on the year. He was also impressive on D making 33 total tackles, with 5 PBUs and 1 INT. He earned 1st team all Mt Hood honors.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: As referenced a few months back, Smith projects as a double digit D1 offer athlete, who will land a majority of the Pac 12. Credit to the Sun Devils on being the first to offer.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='286686' first='Zachary' last='Davis'] 6-1 220 OLB/DE Central Catholic OFFERS: Florida A/M

2022 SEASON: Davis has film which speaks for itself. His fluidity and ability to maneuver is special. As a sophomore he made 43 total tackles, with 8 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks on the season.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Once again he is traveling the country, visiting some of the nation's top schools. Expect him to be a Mt Hood Defensive POY favorite after earning honorable mention all-conference honors on both sides of the ball last year.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='285855' first='Baron' last='Naone'] 6-4 225 TE/OLB West Linn OFFERS: San Diego St

2022 SEASON: Naone will be a 1st team all-state kid on both sides of the ball in the coming seasons. The D1 genes and overall athleticism help put his potential into perspective. He earned 2nd team all TRL honors defensively and honorable mention accolades at TE.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Naone has looked the part on the 7v7 circuit as part of Team Lillard, after helping the Lions to the 6A state title. He has the potential to blow up in the coming months with the Aztecs being the first D1 to offer.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='527032' first='Mana' last='Tuioti'] 5-11 210 LB Sheldon

2022 SEASON: I would expect Oregon and many others to offer in the near future. Tuioti had an unreal sophomore season, making 66 total tackles, with 7.5 tackles for loss, and 3 INTs. He brings a lot to the table you can't teach.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE:If we are talking pure talent, he might be the best player in Oregon. The Irish graduate some special dudes and he will be called upon to lead.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] 6-0 185 QB Nelson-

2022 SEASON: Look for Durdahl to have a big off season on the camp circuit and blow up as a junior. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors behind 2x Mt Hood Conference POY [player_tooltip player_id='152354' first='Cru' last='Newman'], throwing 18 TDs/ 2INTs and hitting on 61% of his passes.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Durdahl was key in helping EForce to an impressive showing on the national 7v7 circuit. He will have an opportunity to showcase what he can do this off season against other top QBs from around the West.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='406756' first='Jake' last='Normoyle'] 6-4 290 OL West Linn-

2022 SEASON: Maybe the fastest rising lineman in the entire NW. Normoyle earned 1st team all-conference honors in the brutally tough TRL, showing flashes similar to former West Linn great and current Ducks center Alex Forsyth.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Normoyle was one of only three sophomores in Oregon to earn all-state honors offensively ([player_tooltip player_id='152653' first='Zhaiel' last='Smith'], [player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl']). He has continued to take big strides, training with FSP and some of the regions top athletes.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='285851' first='Jace' last='Eveland'] 6-7 335 T Putnam-

2022 SEASON: For the 2nd year in a row Eveland earned 1st team all-league honors and was named the NWOC's lineman of the year. Special accolades for such a young athlete. The biggest question marks come with the lack of competition on the Kingsmen schedule.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: The off season will be the key for Eveland, who will continue to dominate his conference and 5A football in general. That said, as he will need to show what he can do against some of the nations top lineman on the camp circuit.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='406755' first='Zyon' last='Floyd'] 5-10 165 ATH Lakeridge-

2022 SEASON: Floyd was injured early in the year and missed most of the season. He will be one of the state's best, and project as a 1st team all TRL kid and POY candidate the next two seasons.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: If he can stay healthy the sky's the limit. He's a standout track athlete with the potential to showcase himself against legit competition in the coming months.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='312496' first='Hudson' last='Hardy'] 6-3 205 RB/OLB West Linn-

2022 SEASON: I would expect Hardy to be one of the state's statistical leaders from his RB spot while potentially projecting as one of the top OLB's in the West.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Look for Hardy to be one of the most talked about kids in Oregon next season. He's a big reason why the Lions might not lose for multiple years in a row.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='285849' first='Oliver' last='Macy'] 6-4 210 OLB/DE Lake Oswego-

2022 SEASON: The Lakers were young finishing (7-4) but had underclassmen like Macy step up and play beyond his years. He will project as a 1st team all-league and all state kid the next two seasons.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: It wouldn't surprise me to see Macy listed as one of Oregon's top 5 recruits when all is said and done. As most know he comes from an impressive family with his 3* brother [player_tooltip player_id='270070' first='Calvin' last='Macy'] committing to Air Force.

11.[player_tooltip player_id='285857' first='Nolan' last='Keeney'] 6-4 210 QB Tualatin-

2022 SEASON: When you have a RB going for close to 300 each week ([player_tooltip player_id='110209' first='Jordan' last='Fisher']) the stats won't always do you justice. Keeney hit on 55% of his passes (81/147), throwing 8 TDs/5 INTs. He also showed off his overall athleticism, rushing 92 times for 359 (4 ypc) yards and 4 TDs.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: I like the move to Tualatin. You don't get to do HS over again, so Keeney did what was best for him. He projects as a D1 kid and will have numerous top ranked athletes to throw to.

12.[player_tooltip player_id='406767' first='Wyatt' last='Smiley'] 6-3 170 WR/DB West Linn-

2022 SEASON:Smiley earned honorable mention all-league honors as a sophomore in the state's toughest conference. Look for him to be one of Oregon's top wideouts as a junior.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Definitely one of the fastest rising recruits in the state. Smiley had a phenomenal off season as part of Team Lillard, looking like one of the top receivers in the West, after helping West Linn win the state title.

13.[player_tooltip player_id='406754' first='Jackson' last='Doman'] 6-5 185 WR Canby-

2022 SEASON: Doman had an outstanding year on the defensive side of the ball, but the Cougars were young and had some key injuries. On the year he made 46 total tackles, with 3 tackles for loss, and a sack. Expect him to be a big contributor offensively the next two seasons.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Most are aware of the bloodline. Expect Doman to dominate 5A competition. As good as he was on defense last season, he should require a consistent double team on O, if you want to have any chance of containing him.

14.[player_tooltip player_id='285866' first='Liam' last='Davis'] 6-1 170 QB/ATH

2022 SEASON: One of the most impressive sophomores in the state of Oregon. To say he stepped up and proved himself would be an understatement. His playoff performance versus North Medford summarized his season well, going 20 of 23 for 287 yards and 3 TDs.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Davis was a big reason EForce excelled on the 7v7 circuit. The Lakers were young last year but should be a top 5 6A team this coming season. If he can help LO beat, what will be a nationally ranked West Linn group, that will speak for itself.

15.[player_tooltip player_id='511859' first='Madden' last='Tanuvasa'] 6-0 170 DB Mountainside

2022 SEASON: Tanuvasa comes from an impressive family with D1 genes. His brother Pepe was one of BYU's leading tacklers last season at OLB, with other brother Layton being the former TRL defensive POY. Madden stepped up big as a sophomore, scoring multiple TDs offensively and earning all-conference honors on D.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE:It will be interesting to see how Tanuvasa does against the likes of Jesuit and other playoff teams this coming season. He has the potential of being one of the best in Oregon.

16.[player_tooltip player_id='285850' first='Brayden' last='Boe'] 6-4 175 WR/OLB Mountainside-

2022 SEASON: Boe earned 1st team all-league honors on O, leading the conference in TD receptions, while averaging 20+ yards per catch. He was also a standout on D racking up 2nd team all-Metro accolades. He is easily one of the most complete athletes in the NW.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE:With multiple D1 offers in hoops you probably know what he is going to do. That said, he's an incredible overall athlete, who could very well earn division 1 offers on the football field as well.

17.[player_tooltip player_id='406759' first='Zac' last='Stascausky'] 6-5 245 OL/DL Central Catholic OFFERS: Northern Arizona

2022 SEASON: One of the fastest rising players in the state. Stascausky earned 2nd team all Mt Hood honors and has the necessary size and athleticism to blow up with continued progression.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE:The Rams might be the only team who could truly challenge West Linn next season. Stascausky will be the X factor in that scenario as the Lions have dudes everywhere.

18.[player_tooltip player_id='285871' first='Kaden' last='Martirano'] 6-2 190 QB West Salem-

2022 SEASON:Martirano was hurt and missed most of the season but looks to be the real deal. Expect West to come back in a big way next year and be a conference title contender.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: One of the more impressive kids on the 7v7 circuit as part of Big 12 Performance. I would expect a big junior season under Shawn Stanley who has coached some of the state's top QBs and players.

19.[player_tooltip player_id='407439' first='Brody' last='Thomas'] 6-2 215 RB/S Sheldon-

2022 SEASON: Thomas got limited time as part of a loaded Irish group this last season while dealing with injuries, but the genes speak for themselves.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE:Brother [player_tooltip player_id='110187' first='Brock' last='Thomas'] was the conference POY and had an unreal career. Brody is a different type of athlete with the potential to be an even bigger recruit, impressing with his overall size and speed.

20.[player_tooltip player_id='285876' first='Kameron' last='Rague'] 6-0 180 ATH Cascade Christian-

2022 SEASON: It is 3A football but Rague dominated the state as a sophomore, averaging 12 yards per carry (110 carries 1,331 yards) with 20 TDs on the season.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Rague has a stock that is sky rocketing as he looks to be one of the top players in the state regardless of classification. He will be the overwhelming favorite to win Oregon 3A Player of the Year honors again this season.

21.[player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] 6-4 200 QB West Linn

2022 SEASON: Gilroy played behind Oregon Gatorade POY [player_tooltip player_id='110171' first='Sam' last='Leavitt'] and talented junior [player_tooltip player_id='278385' first='Nick' last='Sakys'] for the defending state champs, but looked outstanding at the JV level.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: One of the fastest rising recruits in the entire Northwest. Gilroy made a name for himself on the 7v7 circuit as part of Team Alpha and will rank as one of the top QBs in Oregon for 2025. Look for him to compete with Sakys for the starting job.

22.[player_tooltip player_id='412220' first='Maliq' last='Smith'] 5-11 165 RB/S Glencoe

2022 SEASON: Smith had a breakout sophomore season going for close to 1000 rushing and receiving yards and double-digit TDs. As good as he was on offense, he may project on D.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Coach Ian Reynoso is one of the best in the state, but it's a challenge to compete at the 6A level. If Smith can be that X factor in getting the Crimson Tide to the playoffs that would be a big deal.

23.[player_tooltip player_id='285854' first='Suliasi' last='Laulaupeaalu'] 6-4 360 OL Sherwood-

2022 SEASON: You can't argue with the size and potential. This will once again come down to progression and how fluid and mobile he plays moving forward.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: Laulaupeaalu returns after back to back all conference seasons, but the continued question comes down to his massive size and mobility.

24.[player_tooltip player_id='406771' first='Enrike' last='Aguilar'] 6-2 240 DE/OLB North Salem-

2022 SEASON: Aguilar had one of the most impressive seasons of any sophomore in Oregon, earning 2nd team all conference accolades in a tough 6A district. The youngster was a big reason for the turnaround at North.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: He has continued his tear on the camp circuit, projecting as one of the top defensive players in the state. There are many times he is the best player on the field.

25.[player_tooltip player_id='412223' first='Hudson' last='Whipple'] 6-5 215 TE West Salem

2022 SEASON: Speaking of talented families. Brother Holden Whipple is now playing O line at Oregon after transferring from Northern Arizona. Hudson separates himself with his size and overall athleticism (basketball). Look for him to be featured athlete at West the next two seasons.

2023 OFFSEASON UPDATE: With Martirano back healthy at QB you should expect to see Whipple be a primary target. The expectation will be for him to dominate the Valley.
