Luke is a 6’2 and lean prospect who can make plays on both sides of the football. Watching him on defense, you can tell that he understands assignments and does a good job breaking on the football. Luke had a successful sophomore campaign as he racked up touchdown catches and got some much need varsity experience. Wilson also does an excellent job of driving his feet at the point of contact when blocking down or in space. This should be a breakout year for this prospect in 2023 for the Cougars.
Gavin Fenneken – Perrysburg – 2024 WR
Gavin will step up in a big way for the Yellow Jackets as they will have to replace many critical pieces on the offensive side of the football. Fenneken played his role well in 2022 as big targeted possession WR, but you can only imagine his role will expand this fall. Standing at 6’3, he will cause a lot of mismatches on the field, which can help open up the run game for Coach Connor’s offense. After watching films from Gavin’s hoop and football season, it’s apparent that he will have a big year in the NLL this fall. Gavin’s Film
Ashton Yeager Ashton Yeager 6'2" | 225 lbs | DL Findlay | 2025 State OH – Findlay – 2025 DL
Yeager exploded on the scene last summer with his prototypical size for a promising young recruit on the defensive line. Earning D1 offers the previous season has only motivated him to get bigger, faster, and stronger this season. Ashton has a good burst off the line and sheds blockers well once he ID’s the ball carrier. At 6’3, 240 lbs, with two seasons left of high school ball, you should see an upward progression of this prospect, as he has all the physical traits you want in a run-stopper. I project Yeager will be a first-team All – Ohioan this fall with his sample size of work from the past two seasons; expect his recruitment to pick up during summer camps.
Reece Little Reece Little 6'3" | 200 lbs | ATH Findlay | 2025 State OH – Findlay – 2025 TE/OLB
Reece has been among my favorite prospects to watch develop in Northwest Ohio over the past two years. Little has a lot of intangibles that he brings to the table, and his size and speed jump off the charts for a young prospect. There is also some deception when you think about his speed; he is quick and can run for a big guy. Reece showed us in 2022 what he could do by making big-time catches and using his route-running skills to get open vs. coverages. Reece will also do a solid job blocking out on edge or in the box with more prominent athletes; he has the total package for an H Back. I haven’t seen Little in person this offseason, but if he has been working on his craft and getting stronger, you can expect some P5 schools to start checking for this prospect out of Findlay, Ohio.
