Never Before Covered-2025 April Update

Not too long ago, we presented an article for the class of 2024 that is called Never Before Covered. It is an article where the staff at Prep Redzone Arkansas introduces you to new players that are going to be added to the prospect list over the next few weeks. In this article, we are going to focus on the prospects from the class of 2025 that folks should become familiar with this season.   [player_tooltip player_id='706364' first='Carius' last='Curne']-Offensive Line-Marion-6'5” 290-Pounds   The Marion offensive lineman plays with a chip on his shoulder and is an aggressive blocker. He has quick feet and a high motor. Curne is looking to finish the first block and move to the second level. From a run block perspective, he does an excellent job of clearing a rushing lane for his teammates. Curne has the potential to open some eyes over the next season. He is a talented offensive lineman and he is a prospect to watch in 2023.   [player_tooltip player_id='715179' first='KJ' last='Colen']-Defensive Back-Pulaski Academy-5'11” 153-Pounds   [player_tooltip player_id='715179' first='KJ' last='Colen'] is a defensive back with tremendous versatility. He can play the safety or cornerback positions with equal effectiveness. Colen does a great job of making plays on the ball. He has the ability to pick off a pass and take it the opposite direction. Colen had an impressive 2022 football season and I look for that trend to continue this upcoming season. I look for Colen to have a strong 2023 season for the Pulaski Academy Bruins this season.   [player_tooltip player_id='739078' first='Peyton' last='Sellers']-Linebacker-Hamburg-6'0” 205-Pounds   The Hamburg linebacker is a prospect to watch out for in 2023. [player_tooltip player_id='739078' first='Peyton' last='Sellers'] does an excellent job of being able to read the play pursue the ball carrier. He does not give up on a play and has a motor that is always running high. Sellers is able to defeat blocks using his speed and does a great job of getting into the opposing offensive backfield. Sellers is a linebacker that is going to attract plenty of attention over the next couple of seasons.   [player_tooltip player_id='721430' first='Jacob' last='McMullin']-Linebacker-Heber Springs-5'11” 195-Pounds   Heber Springs is a team that has a talented roster. Linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='721430' first='Jacob' last='McMullin'] is a prospect to keep an eye on over the next couple of seasons. He has impressive speed and uses it well to get into the opposing offensive backfield. The multi-sport athlete is going to be a prospect to watch out for on Friday nights this fall. I look for an impressive season from both McMullin and the Heber Springs Panthers.   [player_tooltip player_id='772409' first='Devion' last='Jones']-Athlete-Fayetteville-5'8” 160-Pounds   The Fayetteville Bulldogs are never at a shortage of talented players that are coming up through the ranks. [player_tooltip player_id='772409' first='Devion' last='Jones'] is a versatile prospect that has seen playing time on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side of the ball, Jones does a great job of allowing rushing lanes to develop and exploding through the hole. Meanwhile, from the defensive side of the ball, Jones plays the linebacker with impressive speed. He does a great job of getting into the opposing offensive backfield. Jones has the potential to do some big things on Friday nights in the future.
