Never Before Covered 2024 Prospects

During this period, we at Prep Redzone Arkansas like to shine the spotlight on some prospects that have not been covered and are going to be in the next set of updates. The players in this article are prospects that I expect to make an impact on Friday nights this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='755249' first='Jonathan' last='Milton']-Defensive Line-Jonesboro-6'0” 235-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Jonesboro defensive lineman plays all along the defensive front. However, he is a difficult player to block coming off of the edge. Milton does an impressive job of defeating blocks and getting into the opposing offensive backfield. He uses his speed well in pressuring the quarterback as well as pursuing the ball carrier. Milton will be a prospect to watch out for this fall with the Hurricane. He has the talent to cause plenty of headaches for opposing offensive coordinators this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='731042' first='Jackson' last='Lister']-Defensive Line-Rogers-6'4” 225-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The talent along the defensive line this upcoming season is perhaps the best we have seen in 30 years. [player_tooltip player_id='731042' first='Jackson' last='Lister'] fits the description well. He is a versatile defensive lineman that can play the tackle or edge rushing position with equal effectiveness. Lister uses a good mix of speed and power to defeat blocks and make the tackle. He does a good job of coming off the edge and getting into the offensive backfield to disrupt the quarterback's timing. Lister will be a player to watch on Friday nights this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='746042' first='Kason' last='Jewell']-Offensive Line-Dierks-6'3” 270-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='746042' first='Kason' last='Jewell'] is an extremely versatile offensive lineman. He can play any of the positions along the offensive front. Jewell has an impressive mix of speed and power that has started to open plenty of eyes over the past few months. He has quick feet and does a good job of clearing a path for the ball carrier. Jewell is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of months. The Dierks' tackle has the ability to play on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='690378' first='Terence' last='Roberson']-Offensive Line-Warren-6'5” 319-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Warren Lumberjacks are never at a shortage for talented players. The Lumberjacks this season have a powerful offensive lineman to keep an eye on. From a run blocking perspective, he can overpower opposing defensive linemen and clear a path with little effort. Meanwhile, from a pass blocking perspective he has the speed and power mix that causes plenty of problems for opposing defensive linemen. Keep an eye on Roberson this upcoming season!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='688361' first='Jaxon' last='Hatchett']-Linebacker-Little Rock Catholic-5'10” 180-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='688361' first='Jaxon' last='Hatchett'] has terrific speed at the linebacker position. He uses his speed well to defeat blocks and get into the opposing offensive backfield. Hatchett does a good job of dropping back into pass coverage as well. The Little Rock Catholic linebacker had 82 tackles and 3 sacks last season. I expect those numbers to go up this upcoming season. He is going to be a prospect to watch out for on Friday nights this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
