Mississippi Stock Risers

We have seen a lot of guys on the road taking unofficial/official visits. This young man is blazing fast. That is what makes him so intriguing. He hasn't played varsity yet, but everyone can already see he is going to be a stud. Knox has been working hard to improve his route running. I look forward to seeing Clinton getting him the ball in space next year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='344086' first='Christopher' last='Jones'], LB, Hartfield Academy, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jones was the Rivals LB MVP this past weekend in Atlanta. He was out there showing the world what some people in Mississippi already knew. Jones is a 6-foot-1 linebacker that can move very well. He is a guy that also does well tackling in space. Jones is a very strong linebacker that is in good shape. He has a high motor. He isn't going to be a guy asking to come out of the game. Jones was flying under the radar a long time. He should see his stock go up soon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='616699' first='Taurean' last='Davis'], LB, DeSoto Central, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Davis is a stud that we need to talk about more. No, he doesn't hail from a championship program. However, Davis plays like a champion. He is another aggressive linebacker with good speed. Davis is going to be a division one linebacker. He isn't the tallest backer out there, but he has a big football IQ. He understands the game, and reads keys very well. Davis also has good athleticism. He is a guy that needs to be kept up with.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='350948' first='Caleb' last='Cunningham'], WR, Choctaw Co, 2025</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cunningham has been named a top 10 prospect on On3. He is now in the top 10 on Rivals and On3 as well as top 20 on 247 Sports. Cunningham has some crazy athleticism. He can run and jump with the best of the guys out there. Cunningham also has been working to polish up his route running skills. Once Cunningham learns how to control his body more during his route running, he is going to be very deadly on the field. There won't be many guys that will be able to stay in front of him. Him having a versatile route tree would add so much to his game. We could possibly see him being ranked as the number one receiver in the nation when that happens. He has it all.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
