Sam Kaiser Sam Kaiser 6'5" | 210 lbs | QB Rock Bridge | 2024 State MO – Rock Bridge High School. 6’6 215 C/O 24
Sam Kaiser Sam Kaiser 6'5" | 210 lbs | QB Rock Bridge | 2024 State MO is a prototype QB prospect a coach would build in a lab in terms of size and arm talent. The Rock Bridge product can attack every area on the field, and the real standout when you flip the film on is his ability to generate off-platform velocity and accuracy, whether on his back foot or throwing on the run. This is aided by a compact and fast release, making it difficult for defenses to affect him with pressure. Kaiser has impressively nimble feet for a taller QB prospect, with some sneaky wiggle in the pocket, as well as good spatial awareness and anticipation. He does a good job keeping his eyes downfield and has the field vision to find the open man when he’s extending plays, with a natural feel for finding secondary launch points. Moreover, Kaiser is a threat running the ball thanks to his long stride, allowing him to quickly eat up ground when he turns upfield. This is a must-see prospect that will turn heads as soon as he gets off the bus May 13.
Ben Baker – Blue Valley North High School (KS). 6’2 200 C/O 24
Ben Baker is a gritty, accurate passer that has every chance to follow in the footsteps of Graham Mertz and Henry Martin as the next big QB prospect to come out of BVN. Baker is very decisive with his throws, and does a good job throwing to an open spot to allow his receiver to run through the ball. He does this not only with accuracy, but precision timing as well. Baker releases the ball with some venom and can fit it into tight windows on intermediate throws. There are shades of Henry Martin in Baker’s fearlessness and knack for making plays when it looks like there are none to be made. He will be one to keep an eye on at this event, as he had his junior season cut short by injury and has every chance to put together the type of senior year that will see his stock make a steep climb.
Gabe Busby – East Buchanan High School. 6’5 170 C/O 24
Gage Busby is a precise, fearless pocket passer that can dissect a pass defense with his accuracy and vision. Busby shows excellent ball placement in his throws, routinely throwing to the correct shoulder of his receiver and in spots that do not leave any crumbs for the DB. He has highly diligent feet that stay in motion, allowing him to maintain his platform amidst an unclean pocket. Busby does an excellent job scanning the field, and goes through his progressions quickly, allowing him to ruthlessly pick apart zone defenses. With timing as precise as his ball placement, he is highly yards after the catch conducive, hitting receivers in stride and allowing them to gain the angle on tacklers. Busby’s accuracy and timing will be on full display May 13, and he has a chance to thrive at the next level for a volume passing offense that wants to methodically bleed a defense dry.
Jake Casey – Bentonville West High School (AR) 6’4 185 C/O 24
Jake Casey is an imposing QB prospect with a strong arm and excellent pocket presence. Looking every bit of 6’4 and with a big frame for a prospect entering his senior season in high school, Casey is an imposing figure in the pocket. He has impressive arm talent and can zip passes outside the hash on intermediate throws. Casey is fearless in the pocket and shows the requisite toughness to stare down pass rushers and deliver the ball. Casey has excellent field vision and has an uncanny ability to side-step rushers at the last moment with his eyes fixed downfield to find open receivers. He is one of those QB prospects that may not necessarily be a running threat, but has an uncoachable 6th sense to navigate the pocket and confound opposing rushers. Jake Casey will put on a show for coaches on May 13 with his raw arm talent, but when you flip the film on the real jaw dropper is just how in his element he looks breaking a defense’s will from the pocket
Casey Rooney Casey Rooney 5'11" | 165 lbs | QB Kearney | 2024 State MO – Kearney High School. 6’1 175 C/O 24
Casey Rooney Casey Rooney 5'11" | 165 lbs | QB Kearney | 2024 State MO is a tough, athletic QB prospect that can give opposing defenses fits when he’s on the move. Rooney’s athleticism allows him to put a defense instantly on its heels when he gets outside the pocket. As a runner, Rooney flashes some twitchy lateral quickness, and possesses the running instincts to set up opposing tacklers and juke them out of their cleats. Moreover, he has excellent upper body fluidity and a compact release that allow him to fire the ball downfield on the run, putting defenses in a position that essentially forces them to choose how they shall surrender yards. Rooney throws a pretty deep ball when he has a clean pocket, with excellent timing and accuracy, and enough juice in his arm to threaten a deep safety look. He flashes some violent velocity upon release and can throw seam and post strikes on a rope. Casey Rooney Casey Rooney 5'11" | 165 lbs | QB Kearney | 2024 State MO will be a legitimate playmaker at the next level and can develop into the type of QB that is never out of a game thanks to his ability to create momentum shifting plays.
