Continue ReadingIggy was an athlete that traveled south to Illinois and balled out at camp this past weekend in Barrington. Throughout camp, Iggy showed that he was capable of putting a nice spin on the ball and getting it accurately to his target. Iggy is the kind of player who can scramble around the pocket and get the ball precisely while on the move. It was fun watching Iggy’s emotions rise as he repeatedly made fantastic plays. Iggy displayed a great ability to scan the field and make quick decisions on where to place the ball. Iggy was an incredible athlete who displayed an elite skillset at the quarterback position.
Highlights
Noah had the presence of a quarterback who is going to be great – collected, focused, and precise throughout camp. Noah was fantastic at finding his receivers where they were going to be with enough zip on the ball to get it to them safely. When rolling out backward and on the move, Noah showed that had the arm strength to put some velocity on the ball and still get the ball there accurately, all while on the move. While going through drills, Noah gave his full attention to the coaches with the intent of honing his craft. I can confidently say that Noah is a fantastic QB who will take his teams far in the future.
The QB MVP of the camp had a fantastic performance that spoke for itself, as there wasn’t a ball thrown that was not on target from Matthew. Matthew showed that he could throw the ball into tight windows with receivers on the run as well as slinging it downfield over the receiver’s shoulders. On top of his elite accuracy, Matthew showed great feet in the pocket with the ability to escape in a real-world scenario and put the ball on target. Matthew showed out at the Prospect Tour in Barrington, and I am confident he will continue to do the same as his career progresses.

Israel’s stature signaled an elite standing upwards of 6’3″ in addition to his phenomenal arm strength. I looked up at one point and caught Israel slinging the ball deep down the field, deeper than anyone else I saw at camp, and I immediately was intrigued at the thought of how far he will be sending the ball downfield when he gets to high school. Not only was Israel able to get the ball downfield deep, but he was able to get it down there extremely accurately. Israel also showed that he was extremely mobile and shifty when under pressure from opposing defenses. Israel is undoubtedly an athlete who will significantly impact his teams throughout the coming years.
