As a result, some prospects naturally fall under the radar despite having high-quality traits and major upside. Here are a few Georgia WR sleepers that you need to have your eye on.
Xavier Daisy – 2024 – GAC
Daisy is a very versatile and well-built prospect that stands out on tape. First off, he has really good size at 6’3 200 and moves well for being a bigger receiver. His suddenness and crisp routes allow him to blow right past defenders and get downfield in a hurry. He showcases some excellent focus when the ball is in the air, showing the ability to adjust his body to the ball path and pluck the ball out of the air through contact. While he is extremely effective in the downfield passing game, he also makes some plays as a runner. He has good vision and can pick out running lanes on sweeps. On film, he has even taken a few snaps at RB. In my opinion, Daisy has P5 potential if he can continue to grow on his already impressive tools.
Preston Bird Preston Bird 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR Veterans | 2024 State GA – 2024 – Veterans
In my opinion, Bird is one of the best route runners in the state of Georgia. His blend of speed, suddenness, and quick feet make it incredibly difficult to match up against. He is good at all three levels. He can be utilized as a deep threat, sit in soft spots in the second level, and be targeted in the short game. Once the ball is in his hands, his burst and twitchiness are on full display. He is incredibly hard to tackle, slipping through defenders and oftentimes using a variety of quick moves to make space for himself. On film, there are numerous times where he navigates through numerous would-be tacklers to break off a big gain. Bird is a prototype slot WR that will make one coach very happy at the next level.
Josh Milhollin – 2024 – Fellowship Christian
Milhollin is a very explosive prospect that has generated some FBS buzz after a productive high school career thus far. Milhollin is extremely dangerous after the catch. He is a smooth runner that glides around the field and is able to slip right by tacklers. He does a good job of staying vertical and doesn’t waste a whole lot of time trying to make a defender miss. Instead, he relies on his speed and acceleration to blow right past the defender. He does the same in the downfield passing game, quickly exploding past the DB and getting down the field in a hurry. Milhollin is a gifted athlete that will add plenty of value to a program at the next level with his speed alone.
Jaden Cofer Jaden Cofer 5'9" | 180 lbs | WR Clarke Central | 2024 GA – 2024 – Clarke Central
Cofer is looking to build off a successful junior season where he flashed a lot of playmaking ability on tape. You immediately notice Cofer’s speed and explosiveness on film as he can create separation pretty easily. However, you will also notice that he is a very methodical route runner and has the patience to wait for his blocks to develop after the catch. Once he finds a running lane in the secondary, he quickly explodes through the gap and is off to the races. His unique ability to accelerate and decelerate keeps defenders off-balance and allows Cofer to go to work. For a shorter receiver, he shows the ability to take on tacklers and also showcases some pretty impressive ball skills through contact. Cofer is a D1 talent that is looking to handle business yet again during his senior season.
Tyler Breedlove – 2025 – Loganville
With a thin 6’2 175 pound frame, Breedlove has a lot of physical growth ahead of him. Still, he showcases some very intriguing tools and looks like he could develop into a very solid WR prospect. For starters, he has top-end speed with good footwork and change of direction. He is a natural with the ball in his hands and doubles as a dangerous return man. He shows the ability and willingness to battle through contact to reel in contested throws, which takes both physical strength and great focus. That focus also translates to when the ball is in the air as he shows the ability to find and pluck the ball out of the air. Breedlove is a prospect that I would watch closely as he starts to develop physically.
