Tyree Cook – 2024 – WR – Osborne
Cook caught 40 passes last year for Osborne, one of the surprise teams in the state throughout the 2022 season. Cook is emerging as a sleeper prospect that deserves some attention. Why? Because he is a big WR that can move well. He naturally offers a wide catch radius at 6’4 200. He uses his body to sit in soft spots of the defense and shield off the defender from the football. He is mostly targeted in the short game where he flashes some impressive YAC ability for a bigger guy. That speed should translate to the downfield passing game as he can blow by defenders and get behind the safeties. Cook has really good measurables and excellent speed for a big guy. Still, his best football is ahead of him.
Brady Kluse Brady Kluse 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR Harrison | 2024 State GA – 2024 – WR – Harrison
Kluse is yet another well-rounded WR prospect with good size and speed. He has the production to back it up as well, finishing 2022 with over 1,000 receiving yards. At 6’3 190, Kluse uses his height to his advantage, showcasing some impressive ball skills and the ability to scale over defenders to make the play. Kluse is a smooth athlete with good speed. He quickly gets behind the safeties and shows some good focus while reeling in the football. After the catch, he has decent vision and has the ability to weave in and out of running lanes. Kluse checks a lot of boxes and is a prime candidate to outplay his high school ranking at the next level.
CJ Wiley CJ Wiley 6'4" | 200 lbs | WR Milton | 2025 State GA – 2025 – WR – Milton
There is a reason Wiley has emerged as one of the premier 2025 prospects in Georgia. He has elite size at 6’4 195 and is physical, showing the ability to fight for the ball in the air and use his solid frame to shield the defender from the ball. To go along with his size, he has elite footwork and moves well. He is able to create separation with ease, showing the ability to release well at the line and run crisp routes as he gets down the field. In my opinion, Wiley is one of the most well-rounded prospects in Georgia and has a good chance to validate the hype this year at Milton.
Carrington Coombs – 2025 – WR – Hebron Christian
Well-built WR prospect with some serious upside. With his physicality and athleticism alone, Coombs is able to separate and make plays without having to rely a whole lot on technique. However, he still showcases some nice release skills at the line and does a good job of tracking the ball in the air. He showcases the unique ability to high-point the ball and adjust his body to the ball path. With his strength alone, Coombs can win contested passes and also fight through contact after the catch. With his size and ability to pluck the ball out of the air, Coombs is a reliable playmaker that certainly grades out to the D1 level.
