Filivaolelei was sensational at center for the Chargers in 2022. He plays with a good pad level and doesn’t stop his feet on contact. In fact, Filivaolelei never stops before the whistle and loves to finish blocks with pancakes. He does a great job picking up blitzes or helping his teammates with their assignments when uncovered in pass protection. Filivaolelei excels at blocking down and driving unsuspecting defensive linemen away from the play. He constantly creates pileups in the front seven and should be a huge key to the Chargers success in 2023.

Harmer is a physical mauler who possesses great arm length he uses to keep pass rushes at bay. He plays with good technique, and his footwork in his pass sets is elite. Harmer does a good job passing off and taking on twists up front. He plays with a good anchor and doesn’t get driven back by bull rushes. Harmer does a good job working up to the second level to collect linebackers. He’s a good athlete who can quickly get over a gap to reach block on stretch plays. Harmer can play center, guard, or tackle, making him one of the state’s most versatile offensive linemen.

The Miners sophomore tackle stood out for his ability to move defensive linemen from point A to point B. Hallock does a great job washing defensive linemen down where he can take out other defenders in the process. He always plays through the whistle, which often leads to him placing defenders on their backs. Hallock doesn’t skip leg day in the offseason, as evident by his impressive leg drive. Bingham had one of the state’s top rushing offenses in 2022, and that would not have been possible without the big blocks thrown by Hallock.

Olsen was outstanding for the Pioneers last season. He’s one of the class’s best pullers and does a good job keeping his path tight to the line of scrimmage. He maintains a good pad level while on the move, and when he reaches defenders, he hits them like a runaway train. Olsen has good vision when pulling, whether kicking out defensive ends or going through holes and locating linebackers. In pass protection, he displays good footwork and a devastating first punch. Olsen will continue to provide protection for the Pioneers at a high level for years to come.

Taufa is a force to be reckoned with in the trenches and in the open field. He can toss defensive linemen or smaller defenders out of the way to open up running lanes for his teammates. On screen plays, he does a good job selling that it’s a normal pass play before clubbing defensive linemen. Then he flies up the field, where he does a good job breaking down before blocking defensive backs. Tafua delivers a devastating punch off the snap and gets a great push up front in short-yardage situations. He plays with a good base and does not allow larger defensive linemen to bull-rush him.

Draper demonstrated the elite ability to drive defensive linemen five yards off the ball play after play. He does a good job firing off low and plays with a mean streak you love to see in every offensive tackle. Draper does an excellent job gaining and maintaining leverage over the duration of a play. He plays with a good anchor and uses his hands well in both the run game and pass protection. In addition, he can create pancakes all game long and does a great job working with his teammates up to the second level. Draper’s ability to win his one-on-one matchup all four quarters makes him one of the best offensive linemen in the class of 2025.
