Here are another 5 very talented soon to be Juniors to keep an eye on this fall!
In 2022, Justin helped the Winton Woods Warriors to a 12-win season, held opposing offenses to 13.1 points per game and advance to the 3rd round of the playoffs. He plays as an OLB. Against the pass, he shows excellent quickness at the snap of the ball and quickly penetrates the LOS. He displays elite closing speed in pursuit and pressures the QB to pass the ball earlier than anticipated leading to an interception. Against the run, he displays very good play strength and use of hands to shed the block from the OT. He locates the RB quickly and makes the tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage.
In 2022, Quintin helped the Withrow Tigers to an 8-win season where they averaged 33 points per game and advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He plays as a WR where he lines up in the slot and on the outside. He is quick off the LOS and uses his excellent play speed to get behind the CB on vertical routes. He tracks the ball well in the air and displays very good hands as he possesses a catch radius that enables him to catch the ball with his hands away from his body. He displays great competitive toughness as he rises to the occasion in the redzone.
In 2022, Grant helped the Lakota West Firebirds to a 13-win season where they held opposing offenses to 10 points per game and advanced to the 4th round of the playoffs. He plays as an OLB. Against the pass, he is strong at the point of attack as he disengages from the OT. He quickly penetrates the LOS and plays with an outstanding motor in pursuit before finishing up with a sack. Against the run, he uses his very good play strength, use of hands and physical toughness to shed the block from the FB. He displays quality athleticism and instincts as he takes the correct angle in pursuit and makes the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.
Highlights
In 2022, Jess helped the Wyoming Cowboys to a 15-win season where they averaged 35.4 points per game and advanced to the Division IV State Championship game. He plays as a RT. While run blocking, he displays very good lateral quickness and agility as he executes a zone block and generates movement at the point of attack with his good play strength. He plays with great physical toughness as he finishes the block to the ground for a pancake. In pass pro, he delivers a powerful punch to the frame of the DL sending him to the ground and gives the QB a clean pocket to operate from.
Erick along with his teammate Justin Hill Justin Hill 6’4″ | 205 lbs | LB Winton Woods | 2025 State OH helped the Winton Woods defense hold opponents to 7 points or less 5 times. He plays as a MLB. Against the run, he quickly locates the ball carrier and shows good range in pursuit. He displays good play strength and physical toughness as he makes the stop near the goal line preventing a touchdown. Against the pass, he effectively reads the QB while dropping back into coverage and shows great awareness in zone. He locates the ball and shows good hands as he comes away with the interception.
