<p>Today is our day to acknowledge players that go above and beyond. These guys work very hard to be better. These are the guys who go the extra mile on the football and off. We will be concentrating on Texas for your next five minutes of reading. Let's check it out.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='215022' first='Jonah' last='Bowman'], LB, Rock Hill</strong></h2>   <p>Bowman plays the linebacker position like a wild man. Bowman goes the extra mile to make big plays. He is a workhorse that loves to be in the way of a runner. Bowman makes good solid form tackles when meeting a running back head on. He is going to be a downhill player. Bowman also does a good job of recognizing plays. He always is in the right position. It isn't easy to run a screen play on him. Bowman is the truth.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Antoine Thomas, RB/WR, Klein Collins</strong></h2>   <p>Thomas is a shifty player that has great speed. Watching his film I noticed that he has a great burst of speed. Thomas is a player that you can get the ball quick, and watch him do his thing. He plays running back for his school, but I think he is going to be a slot receiver on the next level. He has the skills to be a nice route runner. Thomas also has some good hands.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Thomas Jelinek, LB, Frisco Wakeland</strong></h2>   <p>Jelinek is another good linebacker of the state of Texas. Jelinek does a good job of playing the run. He is quick to attack blockers in pursuit to make tackles. When he does so, I think he needs to use his hands more. That will help him shed more blocks. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Jovanni Melchor, OL, Katy Jordan</strong></h2>   <p>Melchor is going to be a good one. Melchor is a center that knows how to be efficient in the trenches. He does a great job being a great blocker. He can make sure he gets that bump on his teammates assignment while headed to his own assignment. Melchor also does a great job of pass blocking. He gets the drop that needs, and he also is patient with his hands. Melchor is a guy to remember. </p>
