Physically he holds all the traits colleges look for in a tackle with length, athleticism, and growth potential. Has only played OL for one full year but possesses natural movement skills and bend for the position.  Shows he can run and use good efficient footwork to get to the second level and be an effective blocker in space. Size and strength allows him to overpower opponents at the contact point. Still has a lot of untapped and raw potential as he continues to develop, especially in terms of leverage and pad level. He's an aggressive blocker that is smart with his attack angles and positional leverage while adjusting on the fly to break down and hit a target. Displays a powerful initial punch upon contact with active hands, he extends and is able to control defenders with just his hands and latch on to sustain. Dual sport guy (football/basketball) that contributes to his plus athleticism and footwork to execute different blocks, can reach and get out in front on screens and outside run plays. Good athlete for his size that is effective on both sides of the line at Kennewick but projects as an OT at the college level with his size and skillset. He comes hard off the ball with good initial quickness and footwork to beat opponents to the spot and establish positional leverage. Good feet and mobility to be effective as a puller or move laterally to match movement and recover. He's a mauler with good brute strength driving his legs through contact with the ability to finish to the ground. Possesses quick hands and good placement to strike the breastplate of opponents to extend and drive them off the ball. First offered by Portland State last spring and has since picked up Idaho (where his older brother was an All-Big Sky selection as a freshman), Washington State, and Montana State.
