Over the past forty years, the passing game has taken center stage at all levels of football. The wide receiver position catches the spotlight and has to help create explosive plays in the passing game. In today's article, we are going to highlight some of the wide to watch out for this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='277687' first='Micah' last='Hudson']-Lake Belton-6'1” 195-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='277687' first='Micah' last='Hudson'] has terrific speed. He is able to kick into second gear and leave opposing defensive backs trailing behind him. I am impressed with his route running ability. Hudson mixes his speed with crisp route running and does an excellent job of creating separation in the process. Hudson has earned 35 scholarship offers and is a major target for schools such as Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State. Watch out for him this fall on Friday nights. He has the potential to put up some huge numbers this season.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/11933876/63b5ca48d45e8c07e899cbe0

Elijah Baesa-Mesquite-6'1” 175-Pounds

One of the most difficult to bring down prospects in the class of 2024 is Mesquite's Elijah Baesa. Baesa is extremely elusive and a nightmare to bring down in the open field. He makes opposing defensive backs miss and makes it look easy in the process. Baesa averages 25 yards per reception and is a big play threat every time he touches the football. Baesa committed to the Sun Devils of Arizona State in February. He gives the Sun Devils a wide receiver that can stretch the field and light up the opposing defenses in the process.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15106299/6119d74b1762a5007c23e6c8

[player_tooltip player_id='147444' first='Parker' last='Livingston']e-Lovejoy-6'4” 190-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='147444' first='Parker' last='Livingston']e has opened plenty of eyes during his high school football career. Livingstone's route running is crisp and he creates separation from opposing defensive backs using his routes. He has the speed to stretch the field vertically. Livingstone can be lined up in the slot but is dangerous on the outside. Over the past few seasons, the talented Lovejoy wide receiver has amassed over 30 scholarship offers. He is another wide receiver that has the opportunity to make plenty of noise at the next level.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15082327/633482068cd42e0954b63a2e

[player_tooltip player_id='628683' first='Rickey' last='Evans']-South Oak Cliff-5'9” 175-Pounds

The South Oak Cliff product has a knack for getting open. Evans uses his speed well to create separation and get open for his quarterback. Evans is an elusive threat in the open field and does a great job of working his way open for his quarterback. Currently, has six scholarship offers to his credit and his the opportunity to earn more over the next few months. He is a prospect that has the potential to open up plenty of eyes this upcoming season. Evans is a prospect to watch out for over the next few months.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14947079/63cc8964d21b220994f03367

Ernest Campbell-Refugio-5'8” 150-Pounds

Ernest Campbell has excellent speed. He is a threat to take it the distance from anywhere on the football field. Campbell uses his speed well to create the separation needed from opposing defensive backs to burst into the open field. Once in the open field, he is a nightmare to attempt to bring down for the opposing defense. Campbell has over 20 scholarship offers and the competition to land his services is going to be fierce over the next few months. Keep an eye on him this season.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14954940/63a4e27f4205b80f1c17cea3
