We have seen some guys putting in a lot of work this week. We have seen guys putting in work since the end off the offseason. It’s a crucial time for players. Spring is approaching.
Radarron Leach, 2025, OL, Heritage Academy
This young man does not mind putting in the grind. He stays around the weightroom trying to get better. Leach is a guy that plays both ways for his team. I think that on the next level he will find himself playing defensive lineman. He has a lot of lower body strength that makes him hard to budge. He knows how to clog holes. Leach has also been working on getting his hands better this summer. That is one area he has greatly improved. Leach is going to be in the scary hours a lot this offseason. He’s going to be a nightmare for offensive linemen next season.
Jordan Rush, DL, West Point 2026
Rush is a guy that didn’t start with varsity last season. However, I was able to see him at several camps. Rush is ready to get his roll on. He is a guy that plays with a lot of heart. Rush is aggressive with feisty hands. Rush also has good size. He is a 6-foot-1, 225-pound prospect who will continue to grow. He may even be a linebacker. It is hard to tell at this point of his career. I think he can be a linebacker with the right development. He will have a chance to make some big plays this year, playing for Coach Herron.
Tyler Arrington, ATH, 2024, Jackson Wingfield
Arrington is one of the most slept on prospects in his class. Earlier today he clocked in a 10.74 100m dash and came in first place. This young man can fly. This off-season he is working on becoming a better route runner. Arrington has the kind of speed that you don’t see everyday. It is very easy for him to get separation from cornerbacks. He has good hands. I’m very curious to see how he is going to continue to grow. I think that Arrington is going to be a slot receiver on the next level.
Javien Jackon, LB, Winona, 2024
Jackson is determined to be a guy known in this 2024 class. He is currently running track. Jackson has been working very hard this off-season. He is very active in track. Once he gets to playing football in college he is going to pack on a lot of weight. Jackson could very well see himself playing a hybrid linebacker/safety position. Jackson has some good speed, with fluent hip movements. He also has good hands. He is definitely a guy flying under the radar in this class.
