Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Widley Jean Francois, RB- St. Brendan High c/o 24
5’10 185lbs
Francois is an exciting player out of St. Brendan High School in Miami, Florida. Last season he finished with 757 yards rushing, 114 yards receiving, averaged 8.4 yards per carry with 11 touchdowns. His play on the field earned him honorable mention All-Dade County and invites to several showcases the offseason. Francois is a one-cut runner that shows good acceleration to the edge and his speed allows him to erase angles. He’s a player to keep an eye on this season and possesses a 3.17 GPA.
AJ McFarlane- Hudson High c/o 24
5’10 160lbs
McFarlane has been one of the best receivers the past two seasons in Pasco County. In two seasons for the Cobras, Mcfarlane has 75 catches for 1,621 yards and 22 touchdowns! In 2022 he registered 38 receptions for 853 yards, averaging 22 yards per catch with 12 touchdowns. He also chips in on the defensive side of the ball on this season registered 30 tackles and 2 ints. Mcfarlane shows good wiggle in the open field with the ability and speed to break off long runs. Quick acceleration and can reach top speed in a hurry. Very effective in the screen game because of his vision and playmaking ability. Coaches need to check him out this spring. His production speaks for itself.
Ola Omoyole, LB- Wiregrass Ranch High c/o 25
5’11 180lbs
Omoyole is a rising sophomore to keep an eye on this season. Omoyole was a player that was very productive his freshman season finishing second on the team with 58 tackles (42 solo), 10 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 5 QB hurries, and a forced fumble. Omoyole is intelligent and instinctive, he dissects plays quickly and gets downhill in a hurry, solid tackler. Coaches need to check him out this spring because I believe he’ll be one of the top linebackers in the Tampa area by the senior season.
Mark Harris, RB- Monarch High c/o 24
5’9 180lbs
Harris is a player to keep an eye on this season and was a solid contributor for the 9-3 Monarch High in 2022. Harris is one of the top two returning backs for the Knights in 2023. Harris finished last season with 210 yards rushing, averaging 5.1 yards per carry with 2 rushing touchdowns. He also contributed in the passing game with 13 receptions for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns. Harris is a three-down back that can beat you running the ball or receiving out of the backfield, he shows good vision and feet in the hole, flashes the physicality to drop his shoulder and run through tackles, and has the speed (4.6 40) to potentially break off long runs. Harris is in line for a bigger workload this season and I believe could end up being one of the better backs in the district.
