We always get caught up on all of the headlines making recruiting news across the state of Arkansas in this article. Scholarship offers and recruiting visits will dominate most of the news in this article this week. Coming into the offseason, Wilson has put on a display a strong arm that can stretch the field vertically. He is an accurate quarterback that can fit the football into some tight windows. The Central Arkansas Christian signal caller has impressive mobility and is not afraid to pull the ball down and pick up yards on the ground. Over the weekend, Wilson earned scholarship offers from both Pittsburgh and the University of Arkansas. Wilson's recruiting is just starting to heat up and he is a quarterback to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='260284' first='Aquavious' last='Dunbar']-Athlete-Lakeside-2024&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='260284' first='Aquavious' last='Dunbar'] has the potential to excel as both a linebacker and as a running back at the next level. However, his play on the defensive side of the ball is opening plenty of eyes. At 6'2”, Dunbar has the size that scouts are looking for at the linebacker spot. He has the speed to disrupt the opposing offensive backfield completely. Dunbar had the opportunity to visit the University of Oklahoma over the weekend. I expect Dunbar to continue to open plenty of eyes oer the next couple of months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149573' first='Austyn' last='C Dendy']-Running Back-Pine Bluff-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Pine Bluff running back is a versatile athlete. He is a running back that can run between the tackles. Dendy has the power to carry opposing defenders with him. He does a tremendous job of allowing a rushing lane to develop before exploding through the hole. Dendy has earned a scholarship offer from Liberty last week. Dendy is a running back to pay attention to and watch out for over the next few months. He has the potential to put up some big numbers for the Zebras this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='221259' first='Cash' last='Archer']-Defensive Line-Greenwood-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greenwood defensive lineman opened plenty of eyes during the 2022 football season. Archer is a versatile prospect that can play the edge rush position or move to the linebacker spot and pressure the quarterback from that position. The early part of last week, [player_tooltip player_id='221259' first='Cash' last='Archer'] earned a scholarship offer from the Toledo Rockets. Scouts are starting to take notice of the potential that Archer has playing on the defensive side of the ball. I look for Archer to have a big season in 2023 on the defensive side of the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer']-Quarterback-Greenwood-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer'] is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the state of Arkansas. The scary thing is the young man is only getting better every time he steps foot on the field. Archer has a strong arm and an impressive accuracy. He can fit the ball into some extremely tight windows. Last week, Archer earned a scholarship offer from the Tennessee Volunteers. Archer could potentially do big things in air raid type of system that the Volunteers run. However, the Bulldogs have plenty of talent returning for the 2023 football season and I look for a strong season from both Archer and the Bulldogs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
