At this time of year, basketball takes the spotlight, however, football recruiting news does not stop. It is a busy time and we will have several updates going on this weekend. For many schools across the Natural State, it is spring break, and we hope everyone enjoys a nice break. However, we will be updating with news and notes all week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='337883' first='Drake' last='Fowler']-Defensive Back-Bryant-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bryant safety [player_tooltip player_id='337883' first='Drake' last='Fowler'] is a defensive back that folks are going to want to pay attention to over the next few months. Fowler has great size and tremendous range. He can play either the safety or cornerback positions and not lose his effectiveness. Fowler does a great job of making plays on the ball and has no problem separating the ball from the ball carrier. He is going to have a busy couple of days. Fowler has already paid a visit to the University of Arkansas but he will visit Missouri and TCU over the next few days. Fowler has the potential to play on Saturdays and scouts should pay attention to what he does this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kenny Jordan-Running Back-Pulaski Academy-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Every season the Pulaski Academy Bruins produce numerous talented prospects. Running back Kenny Jordan fits that description perfectly. Jordan is a running back that is effective on all three downs. He is an explosive running back that runs well between the tackles. Jordan does an excellent of job of allowing his offensive line clear a rushing lane. Over the past few weeks, Jordan has built up serious recruiting momentum. Jordan has received scholarship offers from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Arkansas Baptist, and Penn. Jordan is a running back to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149595' first='Landon' last='Holcomb']-Quarterback-Pine Bluff-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pine Bluff quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='149595' first='Landon' last='Holcomb'] is a signal caller that has a strong arm. Holcomb has the arm strength to stretch the opposing defense deep. He does an impressive job of moving around and even escaping the pocket when necessary. Holcomb throws the ball with accuracy and can fit the ball into some tight windows. The Zebras have plenty of talented weapons for Holcomb to spread the ball around to and I look for a big 2023 season from him. Holcomb is spending the weekend visiting Louisiana-Monroe. He has the talent to play on Saturdays and is a prospect to watch out for this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='280305' first='Brian' last='Huff']-Linebacker-Valley View-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='280305' first='Brian' last='Huff'] is building some serious recruiting momentum as the offseason starts to heat up. He is a linebacker that plays all over the field for Valley View. Huff has the ability to disrupt both the run and the passing attacks of the opponent. He is a prospect that is going to draw the attention of plenty of power five programs over the next few months. Huff is going to have a busy weekend with a visit to the University of Missouri taking place. Huff has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='159552' first='Gavin' last='Reardon']-Tight End-Cabot-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cabot always produces prospects that have tremendous versatility. [player_tooltip player_id='159552' first='Gavin' last='Reardon'] is a prospect that can play the tight end or wide receiver positions and excel at each one. He is a smooth route runner and extremely athletic. Reardon is a threat in the red zone and has the ability to go up and high point the football. Reardon has had a busy few days. He had the opportunity to visit John Hopkins and Georgetown this week. Reardon is going to be a prospect to watch out for this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='221273' first='Jordan' last='Walker']-Quarterback-Bryant-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='221273' first='Jordan' last='Walker'] is a quarterback that has opened plenty of eyes with his stellar play over the past two seasons. The Bryant signal caller does a great job of spreading around to his teammates. Walker is athletic enough to extend the play and he has a good sense of when to escape the pocket. He uses his legs well to extend drives. Walker is dangerous scrambling because he keeps his eyes down the field and looks to make the throw. Walker will be visiting UNLV over the weekend. He has the potential to see playing time on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
