Plenty of recruiting news has transpired over the past few days and this our time to catch up on it. College football recruiting has become a year-round business and at Prep Redzone Arkansas we make sure to catch you up on all the recruiting news and notes that are taking place across the Natural State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='639420' first='Marquaze' last='Parker']-Defensive Line-West Memphis-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When you look at a prospect that is building recruiting momentum you have to circle the name [player_tooltip player_id='639420' first='Marquaze' last='Parker']. Parker can completely destroy a play in the backfield. He uses his speed well to get into the backfield and disrupt both the run and the passing game. Parker is going to be a prospect to pay attention to as the 2023 season approaches. The talented West Memphis defensive lineman spent the weekend visiting the Arkansas State Red Wolves. Parker is going to be a major target to watch as his recruiting heats up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Austyn Dendy-Running Back-Pine Bluff-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Pine Bluff Zebras have the potential to be a dangerous team to contend with this season. Over the past few weeks, we have seen Pine Bluff running back Austyn Dendy start to heat up from a recruiting perspective. Dendy is a powerful runner that will not go down on initial contact. He has the vision and patience to seek out the rushing lane to exploded through. Earlier in the week, Dendy earned a scholarship offer from Purdue. Over the past few years, the Boilermakers have done a good job of recruiting Arkansas. I expect Dendy to pick up more scholarship offers over the next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer']-Quarterback-Greenwood-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greenwood signal caller is continuing to attract plenty of recruiting attention. Archer is a quarterback that has a strong and an extremely quick release. He is able to fit the ball into some tight windows and throw his receivers open. Earlier in the week, Archer had the opportunity to visit with Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans. However, he was not finished there. Archer earned his 14^th scholarship offer from Toledo. The recruiting momentum continues to rise for this talented quarterback and he is just getting started. Keep an eye on Archer as the 2023 season approaches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='240083' first='Jalen' last='Dupree']-Running Back-Malvern-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Talented running backs can always be found in the Natural State. [player_tooltip player_id='240083' first='Jalen' last='Dupree'] has a fantastic 2022 football season and is looking to continue his momentum this upcoming season. Dupree rushed for over 2,800 yards and punched the ball in the end zone 41 times on the ground. He helped lead the Leopards to a state championship and has the potential to repeat this achievement this season. Earlier in the week, Dupree earned a scholarship offer from the Boilermakers of Purdue. I look for scouts to keep Dupree busy on the phone and with visits over the next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='196848' first='Keenan' last='Jackson']-Wide Receiver-Osceola-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='196848' first='Keenan' last='Jackson'] is an explosive wide receiver out of Osceola that is opening plenty of eyes with his playmaking ability. Jackson does a great job of creating separation from opposing defenders using his speed. He has the ability to stretch the field deep and has a knack for making the big play. The talented Osceola wide receiver had the opportunity to visit Arkansas State over the weekend. Jackson has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future and it will be interesting to see who earns his commitment. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
