I hooked up with the CEO of RecruitNE_GA, Coach D. He gave me tons of information and some insights on who are those underdogs in Georgia. Let’s dive in!
Armand Long Jr Armand Long Jr 5'11" | 165 lbs | ATH Denmark | 2025 GA – ATH – Denmark High School / @ArmandLongJr1
Long is a dynamic athlete, and he has good open field vision to generate yards after the catch. He glides and weaves through the defense with the ball in his hands and has an eye for open space. Long excels at finding holes in zone and giving his quarterback an open target.
Andrew Hand – DB/WR – River Ridge HS / @theandrewhand
Hand has a good amount of speed once he reaches full acceleration. He have good change of direction, he is capable to cover quick slants because of that. He plays with outstanding use of hands. Whether he is jamming a receiver or playing the ball, his hands are extremely strong and help him make a lot of plays.
Corvin Gillespie – MLB/TE – East Jackson HS / @CorvinGillespie
Gillespie displays a quick downhill trigger with a good closing burst. That burst also helps him make plays as a backside run defender. Gillespie eyes see clearly into the backfield and help him track down the running back. He’s a high-effort pursuit player who uses his length to expand his tackle radius.
Chris Nunez-Mateo – DL – Jackson County HS / @ChrisNunezMateo
Chris displays burst on stunts and games up front. Chris has an excellent first step when he times the snap well, he displays exciting closing speed when the ball is in his sights. Can’t wait to see what he has in store this upcoming season.
Oyeka Alexander – DT/DE – Providence Christian Academy / @Oyeka_
Alexander has several pass rush moves and counters in his toolbox. He’ll grab and pull down linemen to open either interior or outside rush lanes and has an effective rip counter. Alexander hands are very active, and he uses a variety of swipes and arm-over moves to create clear rush lanes.
