And while some would say this is valuable just to cover each position, it actually is valuable because there are some really elite specialists in this class. Now since Kickers and Punters are tough to judge over film and in-person games, the film may actually not be able to showcase their full abilities so I have used multiple resources outside of their film, such as camp performances, to help showcase their abilities.
The Top Five
Caden Lesiewicz Caden Lesiewicz 6’0″ | 175 lbs | K William Floyd | 2024 State NY is not only the highest ranked Kohls kicker in New York but he ranks #19 nationally and has one of the most accurate legs in New York and was a 1st Team All-State selection this past season. Lesiewicz did not have a ton of opportunities to kick field goals in games but he had 37 Touchbacks, 43 PATs, and 3 FGs this past fall.
Sean Malone Sean Malone 6’2″ | 160 lbs | K Poly Prep Country Day | 2024 State NY kicks a really nice ball and will be attending Kohls camp in May and likely have a really solid performance. Malone has a strong leg but also can kick with accuracy from distance. Malone has only missed 2 PATs (excluding blocks) in his career for Poly Prep where he has been the kicker for two consecutive seasons.
Highlights
Sam Bisesi Sam Bisesi 6’1″ | 170 lbs | K Iona Prep | 2024 State NY is generating some of the most recruiting interest so far amongst kickers. The Iona Prep Kicker is really solid on kickoffs due to his huge leg and is a solid accurate kicker. Bisesi is also a solid punter for Iona Prep and showcases solid hangtime and good distance on punts. Bisesi is a 4 star rated kicker by Kohls and is one of the top kickers in the state.
If there is any name to watch this fall amongst this group it is Timmy Tomlinson Timmy Tomlinson 6’0″ | 180 lbs | K Chaminade | 2024 State NY . Tomlinson had a solid season for Chaminade but just recently dominated Kohls camp where he was rated a 5 star kicker and punter and is one of the only players in the country to hold that distinction. Tomlinson is the #22 ranked kicker in the nation by Kohls after making huge improvements to his game since he previous Kohls camp.
Highlights
Marco Graci Marco Graci 6’0″ | 165 lbs | K Archbishop Stepinac | 2024 NY has a really high ceiling and kicks a really good ball. Graci was an All-State selection and although has yet to be rated by Kohls camp through attendance but he with no doubt is one of the best kickers in the state. Graci also plays soccer, but was the Kicker and Punter for an Archbishop Stepinac Special Teams group that was one of the best in New York.
Prospects To Watch
Phillip Noyes Phillip Noyes K Pittsford | 2024 State NY is the most athletic kicker on this list and he holds both the kicking and punting duties for Pittsford. Noyes has what I think is the biggest leg in the state and does a good job of utilizing solid hang times on punts and kickoffs. Noyes also is a consistent FG kicker but does need to continue to work on his accuracy from that distance. Noyes is one name that I would like to see perform at a Kohls camp to help boost recruiting interest.
Christopher DiGiacomo Christopher DiGiacomo 5’10” | 185 lbs | K Monsignor Farrell | 2024 State NY is a 3.5 star kicker under Kohls kicking and he really solid strength in his leg. DiGiacomo has one of the better kickoffs in the state but needs to build more accuracy in his leg kicking field goals. DiGiacomo has one of the strongest legs in New York and has a high ceiling due to that leg strength.
Everett Gilchrist Everett Gilchrist K CBA-Syracuse | 2024 State NY was solid at his last Kohls camp earning a 4 star kicker rating and performing well in field goal charting. This season Gilchrist at 45 PATs and 2 FGs for a dominant CBA-Syracuse team. Gilchrist is a really accurate kicker who can take a huge step this fall by building even more strength and distance in his FGs and Kickoffs.
