Bryson Luter Bryson Luter 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Lawrence Central | 2024 State IN – Lawrence Central – QB – 6’0″ 180lbs
Luter is an absolutely phenomenal athlete who lights it up on Friday’s with the ball in his hand. He’s got a fairly big arm and can let it launch with a simple uncork of his arm. He’s able to throw with anticipation on some out breaking routes and while on the move. He’s such a good athlete that taking off and extending the play East/West is no problem. He’s got a fairly decent feel on when to take off and pick up positive yardage or when to keep his eyes downfield. He’s able to play off script and make things happen as they go. Mechanics aren’t perfect, but never are at this age. He’s not bad and usually gets a nice base set when in the pocket. Luter has been able to make a bunch of those tight window throws throughout his career and is only a positive moving forward. While he could become more consistent in the pocket, I also think he may be forced to try and lift more than his share which can certainly play a factor. His 1415 passing yards, 491 rushing yards, and 18 Total TDs was a nice season, but he’s certainly someone with a much higher ceiling than we’ve seen so far. Get Luter in the right program and develop him the right way, and he’ll be worth all the patience in the world.

Caden Vanderbush Caden Vanderbush 6'5" | 200 lbs | ATH Plainfield | 2024 State IN – Plainfield – WR/DB – 6’4″ 190lbs
Vanderbush is an incredibly long recruit with the speed to match creating match up issues all over the field. With his 6’4″ frame, he’s off the ball in a flash, can use his hands to get by his defender, and open up to the next gear. He’s got fairly good body control and is able to high-point the ball properly and come down with the contested grab. While his route tree is a bit raw, he could easily develop into a true X with the right guidance. All of that said, Vanderbush had his best season to date defensively. He usually plays Strong Safety and patrols his region. With his speed and length, he’s able to close in a hurry and bat down more than his fair share of balls. Last year alone, he deflected 8 balls, picked off 1, recovered a fumble, and added 40 tackles to his tally. I believe that last year was Vanderbush’s first year playing WR, which is only much more exciting knowing that everything he’s done is his “figuring it out” stage if that’s the case. His ability to catch diving passes falling to the ground, contested catches, and ability to finish in the Redzone makes me thinks he’s more of a WR prospect with a completely untapped tank, but I could be wrong. Either way, Vanderbush is going to be a really good find for the school that gets him.

Samuel Lockhart Samuel Lockhart 5'11" | 210 lbs | ATH Floyd Central | 2024 State IN – Floyd Central – LB/TE – 6’0″ 220lbs
Lockhart is coming off of his best year that ended up with him getting an All-State nod from the Indiana Football Coaches Association. He’s really good around the LOS and spends just about every snap in the box. Whether he’s reading a run key or playing coverage, he’s someone who likes to read and see what’s happening. No rash or poor decisions to be made which is why he’s able to make so many plays. He put up 81 total tackles on the year and not many of them were beyond 5-yards of the LOS because of his ability to read, find the gap, and make a physical tackle. He’s willing to put his whole body into a tackle and while he’s primarily making close range tackles, he goes sideline to sideline and does a good job ranging the entire depth. He’s also got a history on offense playing TE. While not a big body of work, he’s shown to be more than capable of picking up things on offense and having the ability to bounce around. He strikes me as the kind of recruit who could develop into an elite FB if he was interested in that route. Stout, physical, and versatile players make college programs go round, and Lockhart will be no different when his time comes.

Cameron Morrison Cameron Morrison 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB Ben Davis | 2024 State IN – Ben Davis – RB/DB – 6’0″ 190lbs
Morrison is a shifty and versatile back who has paid his dues at Ben Davis the past few years and is looking to breakout this fall. He’s always looked good on JV and lit it up when the ball is in his hands. Whether they hand it to him or he gets it as a hand-off, he’s going to work right away. He’s got fairly decent vision and weaves back and forth through some holes you didn’t know were there on tape. He can make just about anyone miss without losing much, if any, of his momentum while re-accelerating right away. I do think he could be a more physical runner being able to break more tackles once contacted, but he’s been putting in a ton of work this offseason so there’s reason to believe the weight room can help him there. He’s a back who could also be put in the Slot and trusted to bring the ball in. Morrison is dynamic and someone who could get his role on Varsity increased and be a huge piece of their offense this fall.
