Coleman put his name on the radar as a sophomore rushing for over 1,100 yards and 18 TDs. He returned from a torn ACL in October to play six games his junior season, finishing with 655 yards and 6 TDs on 52 carries. He’s a crafty back that runs with great contact balance, foot speed, and twitchy change-of-direction. He anticipates/bounces off contact and lowers his shoulder through defenders. Coleman’s drawn interest from several FCS and Pac-12 schools.
Alonzo Borchert
Alonzo Borchert
Borchert’s a talented two-way player for Foothill at WR/CB. He’s a dynamic athlete with the ball in his hands that sticks his foot in the ground and gets vertical up the field with explosive burst. He operates the middle of the field effectively out of the slot and possesses the speed to get the edge on jet sweeps. Borchert flashed his athleticism posting the top broad jump at the National Preps Showcase in February and should start to see some traction on the recruiting trail with his athletic, playmaking upside.
Hall’s another talented two-way skill guy for Foothill alongside Alonzo Borchert. He led the team in receiving with over 600 yards and 11 TDs on 36 catches as a junior. He brings a similarly athletic skillset as Borchert with explosive acceleration and change-of-direction after the catch. He shows great ball-tracking and adjustment to the ball downfield and finishes plays with soft hands at the catch-point. Hall and Borchert figure to be one of the most explosive WR duos in the Northern Section this fall.
Jaime Albarran
Jaime Albarran
Albarran doubled his rushing output from sophomore to junior season, recording 1,300 and 15 TDs last fall. He and ‘23 QB Grant Foster were the top playmakers on offense for an Orland team that went 15-0 as the D-5A state champions. He’s a north-south runner between the tackles that’s strong through contact and has one-cut elusiveness at the third level. He’s an active SS on defense that recorded 74 tackles last season. Albarran should be due for a heavy workload as a senior with the graduation of Foster.
Isaiah Travis
Isaiah Travis
Travis’ upside lies in his raw size and athleticism at 6’5”/190. He presents a big target at WR with the ability to extend his lengthy frame and catch radius. He’s an active defender off the edge that can track down ball-carriers out wide and flashes developing pass-rush skill/upside. Travis has a versatile skillset and physical measurables that could see him potentially fill WR/TE/EDGE roles at the next level.
