The Timberwolves have made two straight playoff appearances and are coming off a 7-4 campaign in which they set a school record by winning their first six games.
Pelham accomplished this mostly with a group of freshman and sophomores who quickly adopted his philosophy of hard work both on the field and in the weight room.
Just before Spring Break, the team was hitting the weights in large numbers as they look to build on the recent success. The Timberwolves return key starters at quarterback in junior Landon Sharpe Landon Sharpe 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB White Knoll | 2025 State SC and wide receiver Austin Cunningham Austin Cunningham 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH White Knoll | 2024 State SC , fullback Tyson Cox Tyson Cox 6'2" | 245 lbs | TE White Knoll | 2024 SC and tight end Hasan Lee, all seniors.
They also look to bring up promising young two-way players like sophomore defensive back Caleb Geronomi Caleb Geronomi 6'0" | 160 lbs | DB White Knoll | 2026 State SC .

- A rising junior, Cunningham looks to build off last year’s breakthrough season in which he completed 155-242 passes for 2,208 yards and 25 touchdowns
- In addition to displaying improved arm strength and confidence in the pocket, he also displayed strong mobility in rushing for five touchdowns
- Plays in an offense where he’s able to utilize his field vision to great effectiveness
- Enjoys chemistry with both his wideouts and offensive line
- Looks to use experiences from the playoffs to improve his overall play
- He was the team leader with 51 receptions for 665 yards and 11 touchdowns last season
- He’s grown from a 150-pound freshman to a lean, 6-1, 185-pound rising senior with 4.5 speed
- Takes great pride in blocking downfield
- Makes strong moves off the line of scrimmage, enabling him to get open for receptions

Hasan Lee
- Among the Timberwolves’ leading college prospects. He’s already visited Georgia Southern and received inquiries from Virginia and Coastal Carolina
- A hard worker who also plays defensive line. He’s developed into an offensive weapon with his reliable pass-catching (31 receptions on just two dropped passes for 553 yards and eight touchdowns
- Has worked to improve his blocking both on running and passing plays
- Thrives in the weight room where his highest bench press is 320 pounds and has squatted 445 pounds
- Displays a high level of confidence in his on-field exploits
- The 6’1, 242-pound rising senior is the team’s leading blocker and is credited with the team’s running success in producing a 1,000-yard rusher in Jesse Ross
- Bench presses 325 pounds and squats 500 pounds
- Credits head coach Nick Pelham with motivating him to become leaner in losing 18 pounds and improve his lower body strength, especially around his hip
- He has improved his 40-yard dash time from 5.4 to 4.9 seconds
- Works well with Hasan Lee when the team utilizes a two tight end set

- He was the Timberwolves’ third leading receiver with 22 receptions for 279 yards and four touchdowns
- Shows good field vision in finding open areas for receptions
- He’s quick off the line of scrimmage in running passing routes and not shy about blocking
- Bench presses 205 pounds and squats 315 pounds

- With his long frame and 4.5 speed, Geronomi is a challenge for smaller defenders and is utilized at safety
- Shows quick reactions to the football and believes his experience as a former wide receiver gives him an advantage on defense
- His confidence level has grown under Pelham and he’s committed himself to improving in the weight room
- Tallied 13 tackles last season in nine games
